We went on the combo of the harbor tour and the carriage ride. Enjoyed the day and learned alot of history that we never knew. well worth the time and what a bargain if you do the combo. You can do it in one day or split it to different days.

The information recieved on the tours was very good...learned about the history of your area. Jodi was especially good on the Carriage Tour....found Butterfinger to be very entertaining. It was a good way to get the most Charleston experience in a few hours since odds of us returning to thte city are probably nil.Thank you

Enjoyed the ease of buying the combo tour, and the Harbor Tour and the Carriage ride were great, and the scenery was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit , and the tours.

Both the boat tour and carriage tour were interesting and informative. Well worth the money. Enjoyable! But when we arrived at the barn for the carriage tour, things were VERY unorganized and the girls behind the counter were NOT pleasant! Disappointing!! Our guide for the carriage tour was nice but he talked the entire time and we did not get a chance to ask questions until we were back at the barn. Disappointing!!

Carriage Great, Boat Not So Much

I booked this tour packaged based on some of the reviews I had read. I was greatly disappointed in the harbor tour, the narrator was lifeless and spoke like he was reading straight from a textbook. I also found that the seating on the ship was not the most ideal set-up for actually seeing the sights. The carriage tour on the other hand was fantastic and we all had a great time. The tour guide was lively, informative, and witty. I suppose for the price it was worth it even if we only enjoyed the carriage ride. Next time however I will investigate different tour combos with the same carriage company and something other than a harbor tour.

Charleston Harbor Cruise & Palmetto Carriage Ride

The harbor cruise is a must for every visitor. The Captain & crew were not only informative but entertaining. Caution: Dress in layers as it can be cold and windy out on the open water. The carriage ride was also very informative and it was enjoyable; however, participants should know that you are seated very tightly together. It may be uncomfortable and that is a distraction. If you book the ride when it is not in demand, there may be less people on the carriage and it would be much more desirable.
