Good tour - Good price

Both tours were great. The harbor tour was 90 minutes and the carriage tour was 60 minutes. Not too long, not too short. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable and provided an abundance of history and information.

Nice end to our Charleston stay

We scheduled the combo tour for our last day and it was a beautiful way to go. The boat ride was interesting and a well-needed relaxing hour and a half. The only drawback was that it was hot hot hot, which isn't the tour's fault but did make it less enjoyable. We went directly from the boat ride to the carriage tour. That was truly the highlight. Our tour guide was phenomenal. I wish I could remember her name, but she's been doing the tours for 20 years and was interesting and extraordinarily knowledgeable. Her control of her carriage/horse was also amazing. I would recommend the combo tour either to get an overview early in a trip or to finish up a trip to get a different view and pull together the knowledge and scenes already experienced.

Enjoyed the Harbor Tour, was a good length at a decent price. Carriage ride was excellent, had a driver that was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Wish it was longer though.

Great Harbor tour--Terrible carriage ride

The harbor tour was informative, relaxing and we saw several dolphins. We loved the narrator. The carriage ride was a nightmare with a driver named Ned. He was rude, condescending and oh so boring. I would recommend the carriage ride if Ned wasn't on it.

We had a good time. The carriage ride was great. The harbor ride was windy but it was a good ride.

I have been to Charleston many times, but it was the first visit for my husband and children. We thoroughly enjoyed our tours and they provided a great introduction to the history and beauty of the Charleston area.

This is a great way to see Charleston. It is a beautiful city with alot of pride. The boat tour was very informative as well as the carriage ride. My teenagers were not "bored" at all and really enjoyed both activities! I would recommend both tours to anyone coming to Charleston. And the price is very reasonable.

I would recommend the combined harbor and carriage ride tour. My husband and I took the harbor tour first and loved it. It was hot the day we took the tour so the ride around the harbor was relaxing, very informative and a way to keep cool. We actually missed the carriage ride but we saw a lot of people that seemed to enjoy the ride completely. The combined tour is very cost effective so that is the way to go!

The boat tour was great! Very informative, just the right length. The carriage tour was also fun and informative. However, there was one problem. The guy seating us put my sister-in-law and her teenage daughter in the back seat of the carriage along with 2 other adults. This made the ride very cramped and uncomfortable for the people sitting there. The back seat was not made to hold 4 adults- 3 adults would have been fine, or adults with children. I just wish one of us would have spoken up and objected to this from the beginning.
