The harbor tour is nice, especially if you pick a day with good weather to sit out on the open deck of the boat. The carriage ride was very informative about the wonderful history of Charleston and its historic buildings.

It was good for our group because 2 of the people have difficulty walking. So the boat ride and the carriage ride were wonderful ways for them to tour Charleston.

The guides on both tours were well-studied and full of factual and anecdotal information. We had fun while we learned a lot. We will definitely do thiese tours again!

Carriage ride was good, but being in the back seat, sometimes it was difficult to hear the narration, especially when trucks were close by and passing. A battery-powered speaker/mic combo might have helped. The harbor tour was very well done - interesting and well presented.

We missed the carriage ride

The harbor tour was scheduled for 15:30, Sat 11Oct2009. This was to be followed by the carriage ride. When we arrived at the harbor, we were advised that the carriage ride ceased operation at 15:00 and that we would have to return another day. Our visit to Charleston was for a meeting, making a return visit unlikely. The package was purchased via the internet from the hotel. It was either not listed or I failed to accurately see the conflict of the harbor tour and carriage ride times. As a result, we had to purchase a carriage ride from Carolina Polo Carriage Co for an additional 39.00$ (party of 3). I called the emergency number and was advised to contact the owner by e-mail.

The Harbour tour was awesome!! As well as the carriage ride. The tour guide on the carraige ride was awesome! Great personality and made us laugh. The only part i did not like was the animals were a little messy kinda nasty.. but they were animals so it was to be expected.. Definitely would take part in this tour again!!
