| This was our first visit to Charleston and we enjoyed both tours immensely! Our tour guides were very informative and we particularly liked carriage driver John's sense of humor as well as his knowledge as we rode throughout the city. We highly recommend both of these tours because they're very different and gave us a real "feel" for the beautiful city of Charleston. |

| My husband and I are local, but wanted to take his family on some "touristy" things when they came to visit. We enjoyed the harbour tour (make sure you bring sunscreen and a jacket). Our harbour tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable. Our carriage ride guide was boring, hard to hear from the back row, and just generally a drag. After having been on numerous carriage tours before with other out of town groups, this guy really did not explain much and what he did explain was a bit inaccurate. I feel like most of the tour consisted of him driving really slowly past a lot of parking garages and non-historic things. We went past historic houses, but he did not explain them at all or why they are siginificant.
Even though the carriage ride was a bust, I still reccomend taking one because you might get a good guide. |

| I bought the combo harbour/carriage tour. The harbour tour was not worth the time or money. Didn't see anything close enough to get excited over. Tide did not cooperate with us. My father had to climb up steps and down steps to enter and exit boat. He is handicapped. Very difficult for him. I will have to say that the crew did all they could to help him. This tour is not suitable to take if you have difficulty with your legs.
The carriage tour was amazing. I would highly recommend that you purchase this tour by itself and leave off the harbour tour. Tour guide and experience was tremendous on this tour. This is the only way to see Charleson in my opinion. |

| I had bought the combo about 24 hours before we took the Harbor tour on Friday Nov 28, at 1:30 PM.
The harbor tour was great and the whole family enjoyed it.
After the tour was over at 3:00 PM, we drove to Anson street for our Carriage tour.
We reached around 3:20 and showed the operator our ticket/receipt which we had received from the harbor tour operator.
The Carriage tour operator told us that we had not booked a specific time and that she was booked for the day and that we should come back the day after! She moved away from us to talk in private with some "higher ups" and again told us the same thing.
She also told us that she has checked with other Carriage tour operators and nobody had seats.
After much arguing, she proceeded to refund us half of the money. We booked for about $123 and she gave us back $62 or so. This money was enough to take the tour with another company because there was no savings for a combo.
We walked across the street to another tour operator. I believe it was Paw.. something. They readily allowed us to purchase the tickets for a 4:30 tour. We took that tour and enjoyed ourselves.
You should better manage the combo. You should assign a specific time for the Carriage tour as well as the harbor tour. Or do something else, so combo buyers are no subjected to such rude behavior. And at the minimum refund the entire combo fee incase you are unable to honor your end of the bargain. |

| Both tours are worth it, even on the same day. (The weather could make or break the boat ride. The winter wind could make it really uncomfotable on the water, and I'm certain Charlston summers can be unpleaseant too. We were fortunate for a sunny fall day.) The content of the tours is different enough not to be a concern. The carriage ride is prefered if you have to choose one, but with the combo ticket, the harbour ride is worth the additional expense. Guides gave useful interesting information. At each event, supporting staff was VERY pleasant to deal with. |

| The harbor tour was great. It was much more informative than we thought it would be. We highly recommend this. However, please note something we did not know. If you plan on taking the carriage ride, tours stop at 4pm. We didn't get to take the carriage tour that we paid for because we were unaware of this. |

| First I thnk that the harbor tour part needs to be explaned better in the fact that if there is less then 15 people that the tour will be called off for that time. |
