| I thought the boat and carriage rides were well organized. The tour guides for the boat ride and the carriage ride were very knowledgeable about Charleston. I especially enjoyed the carriage ride because the guide of that tour spoke a lot about Old Charleston (Charlestown). I felt, by listening to him, that I was going back in time to three hundred years ago. Learning about the charms and intrigues of the Charleston of the past was fascinating. I highly recommend the carriage tour.
The boat ride is also a wonderful experience. One gets to cruise along Cooper River and to see the islands surrounding Charleston in the distance. One will learn the history of how the Civil War got launched on this particular tour. |

| We did both the boat ride and carriage ride and loved them both. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and very professional. We especially liked the care that was given to the carriage mules. We were impressed. The combo is the best way to get a great overview of Charleston! We can't recommend Charleston Harbor Tour and Carriage Ride enough! |

| The harbor tour was scheduled for 15:30, Sat 11Oct2009. This was to be followed by the carriage ride. When we arrived at the harbor, we were advised that the carriage ride ceased operation at 15:00 and that we would have to return another day. Our visit to Charleston was for a meeting, making a return visit unlikely. The package was purchased via the internet from the hotel. It was either not listed or I failed to accurately see the conflict of the harbor tour and carriage ride times. As a result, we had to purchase a carriage ride from Carolina Polo Carriage Co for an additional 39.00$ (party of 3). I called the emergency number and was advised to contact the owner by e-mail. |

| It could have been more informative. I did like what there was and would like to have toured one of the homes.

| My husband and I enjoyed the cruise with the information provided, however we found the carriage ride more exciting with wonderful charleston history and seeing the beautiful homes and architecture up close with personal stories. The carriage ride is recommended enthusiastically. |

| Unfortunately, it was cold & windy the day we took our trip. But on the Harbor Tour, we met some friendly people & met the Captain, he was excellent. The tour was fun.
The carriage ride: We had a great guide, a young fellow born right there in Charleston, he was nice & funny, wish everyone could have him as their guide. But, again, it was very cold & we were not dressed for it. But the guide made it very interesting. Thanks for that.
We actually liked Charleston more than New Orleans. |
