Historic Charleston Harbor Tour

Very pleasant being on water. Learned many interesting facts about Charleston. Liked sitting on exposed upper deck. Take hat and wear sunscreen.

The tour itself was very informative, but we were so far from the shore line that it made it hard to see the building and historical sites that were being mentioned. Still very worth the money.

The narrator/commentator (Bob?) was absolutely horrible. His narrative was condescending and uninteresting.

The captain provided a wonderful narative of the harbor's history. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the cruise.

I enjoyed the tour, except for a group of young people who were talking so loud we couldn't hear the tour guide. The group, two girls in particular were drinking and talking very loudly. We asked the bartender to speak to them which she did but they didn't remain quite. It appeared that the girls were friends of the bartender. As they were leaving they were saying "call me when you get home" or something to that effect. Not sure why they were there other than drinking. I would even question if they paid for their tour since they obviously weren't listening. The tour guide seemed knowledgeable ( the parts I could hear) but it was very annoying. I paid for my tour and feel that it was a waste of money when I couldn't hear. There was another couple of ladies who were also expressing the same irritation.

Boat was very old and uncomfortable. Scenery was beautiful.

The only thing that was wrong was that one person who was on the tour, used his cell phone the entire time and was very loud and we had difficulty hearing everything. Woud reccomend that you aks people to turn off their cells phones.....it was very anoyingand disruptive, I wanted to snatch it away from him and throw is overboard.

Four women friends visiting Charleston for the first time took this harbor tour our very first afternoon. We thought it was a wonderful way to see the city and to hear about her history before we began our walking tours, both guided and on our own, to get an even closer look at Charleston. The captain, and guide, did a wonderful job of sharing very interesting information about historical and present day Charleston. We would take this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone who visits Charleston.

Our group of local friends have lived here for many years and none of us had ever gone on a tour like this. We didn't know what we had been missing. The information was informative and our Captain presented it in such an interesting manner. We all throughly enjoyed the trip. The boat was clean and comfortable. When the sun became too warm, we went inside to cool down in the climate controlled lower deck. All locations on board gave good views of the surrounding waterways. Well worth the money!

The Harbour Tour was enjoyable, informative and relaxing... We had options to enjoy the tour inside the boat or comfortably seated on deck... Both options provided great views..... The Captain, host;hostesses were tremendous...
