Historic Charleston Harbor Tour

Loved the tour, and the only way to appreciate Charleston's coast. Lots of fun besides, Dr Jon Cosse

A comfortable vessel in which to take the tour coupled with a captain well versed in the history of Charleston and the harbor combined to hake this a very interesting and informative experience. Anyone who is interested in the history of the city of Charleston, Charleston harbor, or who just enjoys a comfortable boat ride will enjoy this excursion.

We enjoyed the informative tour very much. It was good to see Charleston from the other side of Ft. Sumter.

I never planned a trip that went as on schedule as our day trip to Charleston. There was no hassle at any of our stops. We did the Classic Horse and Carriage ride, then to the Harbor Tour and ate lunch at Bubba Gumps restaurant, shopped at the open market and ended our day at Boone Hall. Everything went great and the kids had a great time. Thanks again!

The speaker was very knowledgable and friendly, but was hard to hear. The girls working in the concessions were talking to themselves a little too loudly. It was a great trip.

We (my wife and I) have visited Charleston many times - most times in January during our wedding anniversary. However, this time we visited Charleston for my wife's 65th birthday. We reside in Greer, SC. Since the weather was so outstanding, we decided to do the Charleston Harbor tour on Sunday. The ship's captain was an outstanding tour guide and made it fun! The captain was hilarious, the crew was friendly, the drinks were cold, and the hour and a half trip was relaxing and very informative. As we just moved to the area it was good to get an idea of Charleston's history. However, it felt as if they overbooked the boat. Most likely though no one wanted to sit on the enclosed lower level and many opted to stand topside. In my opinion that should not be allowed as they blocked a lot of the view for those of us who arrived early enough to find seats on the upper level. Also, I read another review stating that the cruise was "one sided" and I can see where they get that from as almost everything pointed out is on the right side of the boat. But, given the route they take (following the coast) it is kind of understood. I recommend getting there early enough to be in the front of the line and sitting on the top in the front on the right side.

Make sure to bring a camera!
