| The tour of the harbor was well received by my group. I was surprised to find out that I would have made a better deal on the price of the tour had I simply purchased the tickets vs. buying through Zerve. Since I had a group, rate would have been $13.50 per ticket, however since I purchased through Zerve, my rate was $17.50 per ticket..$4 per ticket more! I think this is an unacceptably high premium of over 20%. So while I recommend the tour, you will be better off purchsing directly from the tour company. |

| I always like to take a guided tour of areas that we visit. This tour seemed perfect since we know that Charleston can be very hot during July. The tour boat had a lower level that was climate controlled where we would be able to get out of the sun if we needed to. The problem came when a small handful of us were put on a boat with a very large family reunion group. Not only did they get full use of the lower level with tables for eating and socializing, they really were not there for a harbor tour. They were more into talking and having fun with the family. I honestly don't feel as though we received what we paid for. We were unable to hear the narration( including the part about where the life-jackets were). Big parties on this boat are a great idea. But tell other customers what is going on. Give us the option of getting on a tour with just tourists like ourselves. I will be asking for 4 free tickets or a refund. |

| If you've ever been out on a boat before don't bother with this one. The narration is silly... I don't think we needed a description of how the container ships were loaded, and that there was a modern building on the point of Mt. Pleasant that housed lawyer's offices. Some of the sites that were pointed out near theBattery (Rainbow Row for example) you can't even see from the boat. They noted there would be refreshments served on the tour, the girl behind the counter was no where to be found for half the trip. It was extremely hot ( first week of July) and we were very thirsty and could not get a drink. Your money would be well spent elsewhere. |

| Really wish the top deck had a canvas tarp for shade as the day was quite pleasant and I do love smelling the water but couldn't take 90 min. of sun.
The tour was on an metal ferry type boat with an enclosed air conditioned main floor and an open air deck with light snacks (dogs, crackers, etc.) & soda. The head was also on the top deck. Boat was clean and loose wooden folding chairs were provdied for cruisers. Good for all ages.
Detailed information was provided around the significant points of the harbor. Tour motored out to Fort Sumter turned back along eastern shore line for a nice water side view of the Air Craft Carrier Independence.
Crew was very polite and helpful.
Dock from land to boat is a little long if you have issues walking. Must be able to walk a metal approach ramp to decks and use stairs (has railings on both sides) in order to get from one deck to the other. They will fold and stow your wheelchair.
I recommend for a causual boat ride with history lesson. |

| We had family out from Seattle and we were disappointed that the ship didn't have a covered upper deck like the ship that takes you to Ft Sumter. So our relatives not used to the heat were really uncomfortable in the direct sun, although did go down below after awhile. But would recommend a covered sun deck! Other than that was a wonderful cruise and one I would do again. |

| I think it was a great tour and would do it again. IF small children were required to be seated at ALL times on the boat, and keep as quiet as they can while listening to the presentation. |

| The local history was well presented. Areas visited of interest to all. you might consider getting closer to & staying longer at aircraft carrier & Patriots point because all kids like that experience. |

| The boat tour was super fun and educational, we weren't sure if maybe it would be a tad bit boring but it totally wasn't, i would highly recommend it, it is affordable, entertaining, educational and romantic. My boyfriend and I went on it as a date and we took lots of photos, saw some dolphins, learned about Charleston and had a blast. Go on this tour! :) |
