| We needed to stay inside the boat as the heat outside was unbearable and there was little shade on the upper deck. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not adequate inside the boat. We saw several ladies in great distress. Passengers were moving chairs just to be near the few vents and they were not finding relief.
Considering that this type of heat is not unusual for Charleston, the lack of air conditioning was inexcuseable!
Needless to say, with so much discomfort, we found little interest in the narration. Thus, the tour was not enjoyable. |

It was very hot but the breeze from the top deck was nice. I wish we could have gotten closer to the shore but overall, it was an experience that I would recommend.

Unfortunately the tour did not meet my expectations. The information was presented in a rather flat and monotone style that made it difficult to listen to for an entire tour, while the advertisement said passengers would get a close up look at certain sites the boat remained too far from the shore to feel like I could really get a good look at the sites being described. In addition, the advertisement offered a controlled climate on the lower deck, but the lower level remained hot and uncomfortable and I could watch the other passengers fanning themselves during the trip.

We were lucky enough to be in town for Harbor Fest so we got to see all the Tall Ships from the harbor. Interesting cruise. The man giving the tour seemed to know his stuff and he had a very interesting accent.

I highly recommend taking this tour.

My husband and I took our two sons. We all really enjoyed it. The boys got a little tired, but they liked the ride and seeing all the sites. The captain really knows the history of Charleston. We enjoyed hearing what all he had to say.

My husband and I enjoyed the harbor tour as well as the carraige ride! Very nice and informative. Remember to dress appropriately as the humidity is terribly in South Carolina!

Enjoyed the relaxing and scenic ride.

While recently in Charleston, my wife and I experienced as much as possible. We walked so much that it was relaxing to just sit back on the tour boat and enjoy the beautiful Charleston Harbor. It was very informative, too.

It was a bit warm to take the Tour in June, but to have the boat not packed was fine with me. The Captain knew what he was talking about, and drove the boat very nice. He didn't try and make the Tour about himself, and I can't recall anything I didn't like about the Tour. I think it would be nice to take the tour during cooler weather, but I would imagine it could be a bigger crowd on boat.

The facilitator had a very unique voice, and was informative. I liked the way the chairs were arranged for optimum viewing.
