My husband and I have visited Charleston many times for our wedding anniversary. This was the first time we booked the Harbor Tour. It was very enjoyable to take a relaxed and very informative tour on Sunday morning, especially after we walked all over Charleston the day before. We will take the tour again.

The words in the header describe my feelings. We boarded the boat earlier than we were supposed to, but were welcomed aboard. The staff treated everyone with respect and seemed genuinely glad that we had taken the cruise.

The company called me the morning of our scheduled tour and let us know that there were engine problems and our tour was canceled. They offered to book us on another company's boat tour for that date (although at a different time). Luckily the alternate time worked into our schedule. We checked in at the second company and they had our names and payment. In spite of the cancellation, we enjoyed our tour on a separate tour boat and appreciated the original company's diligence to let us know first thing in the morning and then take care of the alternate booking.

We were 2 couples, all family & all over 60. The tour was spectacular. The narrator was extremely easy to understand & hear. (Several in our party have hearing loss.) His presentation of the narration was wonderful and the narrative was very informative and surprising detailed. We all came to Charleston in Jan. but the harbor tour was not running at that time so we made it a must -see for this trip and bought tickets in advance. Everyone in our party was delighted with the tour, the crew and the beautiful harbor sights. Of course, it was also a very lovely day and the views were spectacular. Thank you.

Although it was nice to spend some time on the water, the tour was terribly boring and quite crowded. The boat has few seats for passengers, forcing many people to stand for the 1 1/2 duration of the tour. The tour guide had a voice that would put anyone to sleep and did not seem at all excited about the places he was pointing out. I would not recommend this tour to future visitors.
