Ive attended similar events around the country. I like the idea of the 1920s Charleston theme and harbour tour. The cost was reasonable for an evening boat ride. The performance and plot of the mystery was boring and confusing. The actors did the best with the script they were dealt. I'd consider a complete overhaul on the "mystery" storyline. AnythIng is better than death by almonds. Typically guests watch scenes take place and then time is allowed for guests to determine the killer and motive. Actors then share their favorite guest guesses and announce who figured out the mystery - often a themed prize is awarded. None of that occurred. Luckily our group had dinner in advance because I did not see any food for purchase. Drinks were standard as far as harbour cruises go.
All in all, the biggest mystery came at the end when it took the captain at least 40 tries to dock the boat. The concept has potential and so do the actors. Find a story and a captain quick before the boat sinks. |

The beautiful sunset on the Charleston Harbor from the boat was by itself worth it; add to that an engaging drama with friendly & interactive cast members and it really is a winning combination. |

This tour was a wonderful way to get out on the harbor and see all the surrounding buildings, ships, beautiful homes, and of course Fort Sumter. The captain and crew were wonderful and you can certainly learn a lot about Charleston through this tour. A definite "to do" while visiting Charleston! |

Our group of three, two from CA and myself from Summerville, really found the tricombo experience worth the price and time. The harbor cruise rates A+, the carriage ride an A (hard to hear the driver at times) and also limited as to the area we could see. The Boone Hall Plantation was superb. My guests especially enjoyed the Gullah presentation and the Butterfly garden. I enjoyed the ride around the property. I never realzed it was so extensive. We chose not to do all three on the same day and we were glad that was an option. Thanks for providing this opportunity. |

We certainly enjoyed our BBQ Harbor Cruise. The food was great! The weather was absolutely perfect so conditions were right for a very pleasant trip around the harbor. Viewing the huge bridge from the underside was really a treat. |

We thoroughly enjoyed it - Captain was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to point out and give as many details as he could - would gladly take the tour next time we're in town. |

Both the carriage ride and harbor cruise were enjoyable and operated by very organized and well-run companies. Took the shared carriage ride first, and given a nice condensed history of Charleston while seeing the many beautiful homes along the way. A private carriage ride would have been nicer, but much more expensive so we decided to give this a try. We were fortunate to have the entire back row to ourselves (2 of us), while other families were a little squeezed in the rows in front of us. Took the 3:30pm cruise later in the day and only complaint was the boat did not offer many seats outside that provided shade from the intense sun. If I'm going to take a boat ride I like to sit outside and enjoy the open air, however almost all of the seats outside did NOT offer any protection. Many folks started the trip outside, but later moved downstairs (closed air-conditioned cabin) to escape the sun and high temperatures. Overall I would recommend this combination tour to 1st timers to Charleston to get a feel for the city. |

I wish when buying tickets for the "combo" that the company would have told me that the window for carriage rides closes at 5pm. If so I would have just bought tickets for the harbor tour and saved around $30. My wife and I booked a harbor tour for 3:30 which last until 5:15-5:20pm. I just assumed (like any other carriage service in the city) that they would offer carriage rides in the evening but I found out the hard way and left feeling screwed.
Also, the Captain/tour guide on our harbor tour made a series of sexists remarks that were quite uncomfortable. I have no idea what he was thinking. We left scratching our heads on the whole experience. |

The weather was bad on our scheduled day but we were allowed to come back the next day and take the tour in better weather. We saw some nice views of the area surrounding the harbor and of Fort Sumpter. The crew were very friendly and knowledgable. I would recommend this tour to anyone. |

Boat Ride -Bad weather that morning all the while driving to Charleston, then it quit raining and the sun came out slightly. We enjoyed the boat ride, but the commentary was so monatone and somewhat boring. He talked so fast we mostly wondered what did he say. We would not do this again or recommend it. Absolute waste of time. Too long on a boring ride.
Carraige Ride
Pretty interesting and our guide was knowledgeable and funny. We all enjoyed this A LOT more than the boat ride. The only problem was we went to the harbor. The only part of the city we had already seen on the boat. I know it is a lottery but when most everyone had came off the boat, then we certainly would have enjoyed another part of the city more. We did enjoy the houses, architecture, flowers, wrought iron, doors, courtyards etc. Charleston is a beautiful city, we will be back but not on the boat ride. This was our second carraige ride and I would recommend Palmetto carraiges. |

I traveled to Charleston and wanted to see as much as possible with as little hassle as possible. I thought a combination tour fit the bill....and it did! I I was able to take the Harbor Cruise on a Thursday, and the Boone Hall Plantation tour two days later. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed both! |
