Enjoyable experience

I thought the combo deal of the carriage tour and harbor tour was wonderful! We did the carriage ride first thing, and had time to walk and shop around before the harbor tour. It was a fun, and fact-filled day.

We did both the boat ride and carriage ride and loved them both. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and very professional. We especially liked the care that was given to the carriage mules. We were impressed. The combo is the best way to get a great overview of Charleston! We can't recommend Charleston Harbor Tour and Carriage Ride enough!

This was a nice way to spend a day in Charleston. We started the day with the Harbor Cruise and ended with the tour of the Plantation. Both were very informative; however, the Plantation tour was the best. After attempting to figure out what the tour guide on the boat was pointing out, we gave up and enjoyed being out on the water. Seeing the dolphins was very enjoyable! Overall, I would recommend both tours. You will definitely enjoy and the price is very reasonable.

Our tour

Good tour although I wished the boat would get a little closer to some of the sites so I can take even better pictures. The crew was very nice and was there to answer any questions we had and with any needs. It was very hot but the A/C below deck was very nice. I was glad to have a place to cool off. The tour was priced about right. I would go again but would not pay much more than the current rate. I think the tour would be better on cooler days (75-88 degrees), it was in the low 90's and a little hazy the day we went.

Exciting views of Charleston

This is a pretty good package deal and both companies involved are very professional and are good at what they do. The only thing I would recommend is not to take these tours in the thick of the summer, we were all very hot and uncomfortable, especially during the carriage ride where they pack you in the carriage very tightly.

Our Neice and Nephew thought....

the Harbor Tour was great, informative and wonderful. They were visiting from NY with their 1 year old baby. They couldn't say enough good things about the tour guide and Charleston. We bought this for them because they were trying to see as much as possible and learn the history as well. Being able to split the combo package into 2 different days worked best for having an infant along. They have not taken the carriage tour yet but are looking forward to doing so this weekend. Highly recommend and the cost is reasonable for what you get.

Great, affordable combo tour

What a great combination tour this was !! Affordable, historic, entertaining and very good plantation and harbour tour operators / narrators. Boone Hall Plantation: We got there at 2pm and left at 5:30pm. In that time frame we took the tram ride (which had Michael as the guide and he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the historical aspects of Boone Hall, insightful with his own interpretations as well as comical, injecting some humor now and again), toured the mansion with another female guide, who's name slips my mind, walked the grounds including the slaves quarters as well as listed to Mr. Murray's 1 man show. My wife and kids, 16 and 14, enjoyed the experience and learned a lot. Harbor Tour: Our 11:30am tour began on time and lasted 1.5 hours. It was a nice presentation and very scenic. We were taken to the mouth of the harbor a few hundred feet from Fort Sumter, (check out the FREE Fort Sumter Museum, about 1 football field away from the Harbor Tour ticket office) the Destroyers and USS Yorktown air craft carrier, up to and under the Charleston Harbor Bridge and saw 4 dolphins along the way.

Interested in American History? You won't be disappointed with visiting the Boone Plantatation and taking the harbour tour. We would like to come back in October when Fall festivities promise to be exciting.

Wonderful way to get a feel for Charleston!

My husband and I were looking for a way to soak up Charleston as much as possible on our weekend vacation with our 11-month-old. The combination of the harbor and carriage tours was perfect. Both tours were relaxing yet very informative and interesting. I felt that both guides were knowledgeable, professional, and entertaining. It was perfect for our desire to learn a lot about the area in a short period of time. Even our daughter loved seeing the water and several dolphins, and was greatly captivated by the mules on the carriage tour. They were both very enjoyable! (The boat had a lower deck as well that was enclosed that allowed us to take our daughter there to get out from the sun periodically and have her walk around.)

My husband and I went to Charleston on our honeymoon the week we took this cruise. It was given to us as a gift, so we didn't know what to expect. From the moment we stepped on the boat we felt comfortable. The bar staff was superb and very friendly. Nothing beats good music and good food...you guys provided that in one package. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Relaxing Cruise

The Blues and BBQ cruise was very well organized. The Captain and crew were helpful but not obtrusive. The band was very enjoyable. The food was delicious. We really appreciated the length of the cruise. Our only suggestion would be to raise the price by $10 and sell fewer tickets. It got quite crowded on top of the boat. Overall, I would recommend this cruise to others...just tell them to get there early so they can get a seat at the front of the boat.
