Kind of crowded. No interaction with the crew just someone that I could not see telling about the sites. Not sure if he was real or it was a recording. Sorry, just not what I exspected. |

We had a great time on the harbor cruise and learned some interesting facts. We sat by the motor in the back so sometimes a little hard to hear, but well worth the time and very interesting. The employees were pleasant and the guide entertaining. |

The boat ride was very calm and relaxing. I really enjoyed the tour guide. I could tell that he was local...which was great, because if you're touring, you would rather hear someone that is a native to that area. Great job on that... The route the boat went was also great. My wife and I got to see alot. She had never been to Charleston before, and it was a treat for her. I'm from Carolina, so it's always great to visit the harbor.
All in all, the tour was well worth it. Great job!!! |

I was expecting something better than what I received. The chairs were almost on top of each other and you couldn't move with those beside you almost standing and moving off the aisle for you to get by. The narrator tried but did not have a good voice nor was all of his information accurate. I have lived in Charleston many years and several things that he stated have recently changed and need to be revised. If you were not from the area, it would have been fine. It was a pretty day and we saw some wonderful sites in the Charleston area. |

Even though rain threatened and the wind was 25 mph we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Charleston is beautiful and seeing it from the harbor along with the many sights in the harbor was great fun. We recommend this tour highly. |

The harbor tour was great! The guide was excellent and knew his history by heart and gave a flawless presentation. The staff was very courteous. The first half we sat on the top deck, as we were turning around, a down pour came and we had to go inside. We couldn't see well at all, but before it was over, we went back up top. The guy was wiping all of the chairs off to dry them so you could sit if you wanted. We will definitely do this again.
The plantation was very disappointing for me. The house tour was only of 4 rooms and there was a wedding planned for later that evening, and we couldn't even see the front of the house well. We won't go back there.
Will do the harbor/carriage combo next time. |

I have lived in the Charleston area for 23 years. I took my sister from Oregon on this tour. Wish I would have done this 20 years ago. Very informative. |

The harbor tour was nice. I was a bit disappointed that there was no mention of the slave entry via the port. The boat accomodations were excellent. I was a bit concerend at the amount of oil when we docked in the water. I felt like someone
should have lent a hand when getting on and off of the boat instead of just standing
as the entry was very slanted.
The ticket agent name Ashely gave very bad information. There were 7 of us and half were doing the carriage tour and half the other 3 did the plantation tour. We asked her about the first time for the tours on Sunday morning and she said 9:00 and we said both and she said yes. We had to drive 6 hours to get home. When we
found out at 9:00 that the first plantation tour was not until 1:00 pm that was very stressful and meant for a late night getting back. If she didn't know I wish she had just said that.
The carriage tour was excellent and our guide Jim was excellent as well. |

We were 12 women from Florida traveling to Charleston for a Women of Joy conference. We had a free day and since I had done this combo before, I suggested that they might like to do it also. Everyone agreed to do it and everyone agreed that it was wonderful. Our tour guide, JB was funny and informative; we loved seeing the old houses of Charleston and the great gardens. The proximity of the carriage tour barn to the market place was very convenient. The boat ride of the harbor was very relaxing and also informative. Both events were perfect for putting us in the mood for the start of the conference that evening. I will continue to recommend this activity. Using Zerve to obtain the tickets made the registering process so simple and speedy--I would also use Zerve again. |

The Charleston Harbor Cruise was very informational. Our "captain" pointed out every detail of the tour and more. When selecting this tour the information said it's a 90 min tour and at least 75 places would be pointed out. That was more than accurate. My husband and I really enjoyed this cruise. We bought the combo tour so after the harbor cruise we went directly to Boone Hall Plantation. WOW!!! That avenue of oaks is definately all everyone says about it. The grounds were beautiful, the house gorgeous, the individual slave houses with all their wealth of information was interesting, the tram tour over the entire "working" plantation was very informative and interesting and Sharon of the African'American Gullah culture put on this skit that was awe inspiring. We would definately recommend this combo tour to everyone. |
