Tour was great - Crew friendly, narrator spoke very clear and precise, not to mention providing interesting tidbits of historic Charleston and the surrounding areas. Would recommend this tour to others.

I loved the harbor and plantation tour! I liked the fact I could take the tours all in one day or do separate days.Everything was easy and simple to do with getting tickets.

It was great to see things from "sea" view
Sat, Apr 11, 09   3:30 PM rturizo Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
The Tour was nice in that the boat was comfortable and I was able to get a good look at the land, from the sea around the area. The Guide was good at pointing things out as well. However, to be honest, the Walking Tour and Carriage Tour were best to see the sites up close and the most amazing highlight of our entire trip was DEF the Magnolia Plantation and Slave Tour. We also did an eco tour which due to the small size of the boat we got closer I think and that was great. I think I'd recommend the Harbor Tour third or fourth on the list to see things from a different perspective. One note....I thought we'd have gotten a LOT closer to the ship and battery area I guess. So the only downside to the boat tour was that you are very far away from the sites the guide was talking to you about. Relaxing though.

Just okay

The boat ride was nice, the most exciting part was seeing the dolphins swimming around. The captain had a great deal of knowledge on Charleston and that made it interesting. I had two teenage boys with me so they thought that it was the most boring thing ever. To me the Boone-Hall plantation was a waste of money. I didn't know until we got there that this plantation house is only a replica of what we would have seen in the 1700's. This house was built in 1936. We had a visitor pass out and, because I am a nurse, I stayed with her until the ambulance arrived so I was only able to see two rooms of the house. My family told me that I really didn't miss anything, just a bunch of talking. The slave cabins and the beautiful drive way was the only interesting parts for me. I can't say that I would recommend this package. To me it was overpriced.

Reasonably priced snacks on board. 10 and 11 year old kids attentive and enjoyed the experience. Top deck is open air, bring a windbreaker to enjoy best views comfortably, even in good weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed both the boat and carriage tour. I would highly recommend it (and already have) to any families visiting Charleston. Even my teenagers (15 & 17) enjoyed the tour.

Getting the ticvkets was major. I did it by phone and you couldn't get any kind of cancellation or information etc. It took a long time. I don't know what we expected, but it was a ride around the harbor with an interesting talk of sites, but we could have done as well with a water taxi and it was expensive.
