The cruise was relaxing and informative. Nice break from the walking around Charleston and seeing all we could see in three days

Good trip to go on. Would recommend anyone who is intrested in a relaxing tour. My only complaint is that it was too short. It was only 1hr & 10mins.

The harbor tour was ok; a bit too long, especially for the children. The narrator did not have a loud, clear voice, and we missed some of the narration. He seemed to be ahead of the boat......by the time we passed what he described, we had forgotten what it was. However, the boat was air-conditioned, which was very good, and there was room to move around. I think as a rapid tour it was pretty good, and did give some history of Charleston. More adult oriented than for kids, but not a bad way to get an overview of the city.

The guide was knowledgeable and interesting although there were some extended periods of silence. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon in Charleston but I would've preferred a trolley tour in the city itself.

The harbor tour was good. The tour guide provided interesting facts and passed by interesting places to include Ft Sumter. The carriage tour was great. Interesting facts and there are several routes that can be taken so I can't speak to all of them.

The tour was very informative and it was nice to get to see the river front and bridges from different angles...great for taking pictures. The boat was spacious and provided good viewing areas. It would have been nice to have gotten closer to the forts, but over all it was an enjoyable tour and I would have no problem recommending it to friends and family.

Great tour. Our tour guide was very enthusiactical and provided alot of history and background while also making it fun to listen to. Not boring at all. He would point out the dolphins to us so that everyone could see. Great tour guide.

The tour combined intriguing details and broad explanations as well as a variety of sights, such as porpoise, birds, buildings, and boats.

My family had a lovely time on the tour, the captain was very knowledgeable. The boat does not stop at Fort Sumter, so if you really wish to see the Fort I would take a different cruise, this was a disappointment. You can only get to the Fort by boat. I also would have spent a little extra and taken the horse carriage tour around town. I fell like we missed quite a bit. Charleston is very tourist oriented; everything worth seeing is part of a tour, and it pricey. I suggest to anyone to do your homework, find out what you want to see and budget for it.

When booking the trip we were told that the Harbor Cruise would not be cancelled under any circumstances pending extremely severe and inclement weather. This fact was stressed over and over to me on the phone when booking the trip. The only reason we chose a group carriage ride and not a private tour was that it was billed as a package with the Harbor Tour. During the carriage ride we were squeezed onto a carriage, which was extremely uncomfortable and it made it difficult to hear or enjoy the tour guide. When we showed up for our booked Harbor Tour, we found that it had been cancelled due to weather, however it was a sunny, somewhat breezy afternoon. The person refunding the tour was no where to be found and therefore we were unable to book a tour with another company as it left just as she returned from an errand 20 minutes after our arrival to the center (note that the other company was running their tours). She was extremely unhelpful and only refunded a minimum amount with no acknowledgment of our long trek to the maritime center, the disruption of our plans nor the fact that we would have chosen a different carriage tour if not for the Harbor Cruise. Other tour companies that we used throughout our trip, called frequently with updates and pick up times. This was the only tour that we booked that cancelled and I received no notice from the company regarding the possible cancellation. Needless to say I was very unimpressed!

Unfortunately due to weather conditions we unable to take the cruise portion of the tour but we enjoyed the carriage ride portion. Our hostess was very knowledgable and presented information enthusiastically. One critique, we sat in the back row and at times it was difficult to hear.We really had a nice time and would reccomend the tour. When the cruise was cancelled for the day we were quickly refunded that portion of our fee. June Poughkeepsie, NY

We did the combo harbor and carriage tour and both were great. The guides gave you lots of information and answered questions. We really enjoyed both tours and will definitely go again.

I would suggest to wait and get tickets there, it is cheaper. Rather than buy on line. We had a great time and hope to revisit some time soon.

Good deal and good way to get a glimpse

Both tours were a nice way to see Charleston from different angles (water and land). The combo is a good deal and while we did the carriage tour right after the boat tour, it is nice to have the option to do one later if you are all toured out or just want to explore for a while on your own. I only wish we had done the carriage tour earlier in our visit since it helps you get orientated in the city and also you see sites on the way that you might want to go back to, like churches and houses that are museums etc. Zerve was easy to deal with and even though we booked 1 hour before the boat left, our information was quickly transmitted to the desk were we checked in for the tour. In the future when shopping for a tour, I will check Zerve first.
