| The Harbour tour was very informative and the guide very entertaining I just thought it would have been better to have a stop such as a stop on Fort Sutmner instead of having to take another tour to see Fort Sutmner. It should be combined as a Harbour tour and a stop at Fort Sutmner with a tour there and then back. Also more parking required in Charleston if you just want to walk around. | ||||||

Not thrilled Historic Charleston Harbor Tour |

| We were looking forward to seeing the Battery from the water, which was the reason we booked the tour. The only photo opportunity of the Charleston skyline was when the boat was leaving the dock. Views of Fort Sumter and the Ravenel Bridge were great, however, and the narrator did a good job. It was a very warm day and the inside seating provided no relief from the heat. Compared to other water tours we have taken in numerous cities, this one ranks low. | ||||||

| Both tours were great. The harbor tour was 90 minutes and the carriage tour was 60 minutes. Not too long, not too short. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable and provided an abundance of history and information. | ||||||

| My family highly recommend this tour to all who will take the time to view a beautiful and historical area and learn from your Captain on the tour boat and your driver of the carriage ride through Charleston. I purchased our tickets through Zerve and when we arrived all was waiting at the harbor. THis was my first ttime using Zerve and I would definately use them again. Again, my family and I had a wonderful experience. When you take the tour bu sure and take both your camera and your video camera to document your experience. | ||||||

Fun Day, Great View of Charleston from the water.. Historic Charleston Harbor Tour |

| We took a tour on a small air conditioned bus, (A MUST), in the morning and it was excellent, Adventure Tours. Our guide Judy was excellent and fun. She provided a lot of history and facts. To round it out we took the Harbor Tour in the afternoon and it provided a different perspective from the water. The Captain and his crew were great. The Captain's description of various places and sites was excellent and different then the morning tour. We highly recommend the back to back. Great pictures but make sure you bring your telephoto lens! The best was the Jimmy Buffet music, a cold beer and cruising one of the US's most interesting harbors. | My Son and I took this trip together and we both agreed that the carriage ride was the better of the two. Our guide Rebel (girl) was so informative and delightful. The horse named Chief was gentle and gave us a good ride. I will go again with my husband and hope to get the same girl. There are about 5 different routes that can be taken and they are done on a lottery style system. We toured the oldest part of the city and it was full of history. Next I would love to tour the battery. We liked the harbour tour also but felt that for us the carriage was the best. I would definately recommend both tours! | ||||||

WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMENDED! Historic Charleston Harbor Tour |
|||||

| I enthusiastically recommend the Historic Charleston Harbor Tour. Don't be fooled into thinking you have to be on the BIGGEST- PRETTIEST boat. In all honesty, this may not have been either of those things- but it was air conditioned below deck & it had a mini bar above deck- with tables, friendly staff & plenty of seating. The boat was great! The tour was beautiful- you will see everything you wish from historic homes to Ft. Sumter to the Ravenel Bridge to the USS Yorktown. It was the perfect amount of time & just at little more than 90 minutes. Even more appreciated these days- they took off on time, as scheduled. The narrator, if you will, was very informative. I have lived in Charlotte for 12 years & have visited my father in law in Charleston for just as many yrs. I've heard all the tours, seen all the sites. I took my mother who'd never been there on this & she ATE IT UP. Go- the price couldn't be better either. You'll love it. | ||||||

| It was a little bit vague on where to go exactly to sign in and pay, but a few questions asked and it was easy to figure out! The ride itself was very relaxing and enjoyable and the guide was excellent! The guides are very well-trained. The only bad part of the experience was the hot sunshine :) Other than that, it was very good and we would do it again! | ||||||

| I highly recommend the carriage tour. It takes you through different parts of Charleston and the guide we had was great. She seemed to know the entire history of Charleston and she was able to answer every question our group had. As for the harbor tour, it was OK. It was the only way to see Fort Sumpter up close though. Otherwise you just cruise through the harbor and see parts of various areas at a distance. The guide was great as well, very informative with a vast knowledge of history. If you're going on the harbor tour don't go on the 3:30 pm tour in August-too hot!!! | ||||||

Nice end to our Charleston stay Combo: Charleston Harbor Tour & Carriage Ride |
|||||

| We scheduled the combo tour for our last day and it was a beautiful way to go. The boat ride was interesting and a well-needed relaxing hour and a half. The only drawback was that it was hot hot hot, which isn't the tour's fault but did make it less enjoyable. We went directly from the boat ride to the carriage tour. That was truly the highlight. Our tour guide was phenomenal. I wish I could remember her name, but she's been doing the tours for 20 years and was interesting and extraordinarily knowledgeable. Her control of her carriage/horse was also amazing. I would recommend the combo tour either to get an overview early in a trip or to finish up a trip to get a different view and pull together the knowledge and scenes already experienced. | ||||||
