Engine Problems Day of Tour

| The company called me the morning of our scheduled tour and let us know that there were engine problems and our tour was canceled. They offered to book us on another company's boat tour for that date (although at a different time). Luckily the alternate time worked into our schedule. We checked in at the second company and they had our names and payment. In spite of the cancellation, we enjoyed our tour on a separate tour boat and appreciated the original company's diligence to let us know first thing in the morning and then take care of the alternate booking. | ||||||

| My husband & I enjoyed the 90 minute leisure tour around the harbour of Charleston. The crew was friendly and fun, and the captain was knowledgeable about the points of interest. I feel it was worth the money to see the town and other landmarks from a different perspective. I especially enjoyed the water view of Rainbow Row and the dolphins swimming around in the harbor! | ||||||

| We were especially impressed by our guide on the carriage tour. The young lady (Jody Shearer) was incredibly knowledgable and funny. We learnt a lot of very interesting facts about the city (she really knew her stuff...and a lot of it at that !!!) and would highly recommend this to everyone. It was well priced and the staff were friendly and inviting. We will certainly return to take the tour again. The boat tour was inviting and relaxing. It was nice to see the city from the water. A very pleasant day ! Thank you and the wonderful tour people in Charleston !! | ||||||

| Am a local, having visitors from the north wanting to get a more insightful knowledge of the local history. Tour guide was very informative, very knowledgeable on the history of the architecture, and overall area. Was very happy with the overall experience. | ||||||

| The tour was wonderful. The captain was very knowlegeable about the harbor and pointed out points of interest. Loved watching the Dolphines play while we were on the tour. I would recommend this tour to other. we had a great time | ||||||

| My husband and I went on the Harbour tour and then the Carriage tour. I was thrilled when on the harbour tour, we saw several dophins swimming near us! I especially enjoyed the carriage tour, because we got to see the old houses up close. Would actually have enjoyed this more if it had been longer! Think this is a great way to see the historic district, much better than if we had been in our car. | ||||||

| We took this took this tour in mid-afternoon which was the perfect time. We had walked around all morning and just wanted to relax a little bit. You sit on the upper deck of the boat, kick back and feel the breeze. All the while you are seeing beautiful sights and learning a great deal about the history of Charleston. Definitely worth it. | ||||||

| This was a nice package deal. Both activities were fun and enjoyable. All party's of both tours were very informative and entertaining. It was also a nice way to see a variety of tour sites in convenient and fun ways. | ||||||

| Our guide was wonderful. He enlightened us on many facts about the Historic Charleston area. The churches, homes, and surroundings. I would recommend this to anyone interested in the history of Charleston. | ||||||

| Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the combo package of the Charleston Harbor tour and Carriage ride. My only complaint is that there was a group of girls celebrating a bachelorette party on the harbor cruise that took about from the experience of everyone in the front of the boat. These girls came onto the boat late and stood along the railing blocking our view along with the views of everyone else in our section on the top of the boat. The girls ignored the request from the captain that everyone turn off their cell phone ringers, and actually talked loudly on the phone during much of the tour, making it difficult for us to hear the tour guide. Both my wife and one other lady asked the girls to not talk on their phones so loudly, but they rudely ignored both requests, stating that they paid good money just like us to be there. I don't fault the crew for these girls actions, but it would have been nice if they were not allowed to stand along the railing, blocking our view. The actual boat tour, scenery and carriage ride were all outstanding. | ||||||
