Charleston Harbor Tours

The harbor tour was just ok, the boat captain was funny and great but it wasn't wowing. Thankfully it had AC bc the heat was killer that day. Can't say enough about Boone Hall. It was just amazing with the amount of rich local history and the staff there were great. We spent the entire day there a lot longer than we had planned but it was just that cool. Slave cabins and the history there just makes you go WHOA! I highly recommend the Boone Hall Plantation tour!

Crew very professional and courteous. BBQ served was good. Wished Carolina Belle had Kahlua and Cream, Tropical style drinks, and a larger selection of beer. Just the basics onboard. Most of the passengers went topside to the outdoor observation deck to view the fireworks display. My group stayed in the air conditioned cabin and enjoyed the view while seated. We would definitely sail on the Carolina Belle for another dinner cruise.

Great trip will go again........

Great cruise/music/food

My husband and I truly enjoyed the fireworks cruise. The food and music were fantastic! The crew was congenial. All in all we would definitely do this again if we were ever in the Charleston area on the Fourth. Thank you for helping us make a great vacation memory!

My entire family, including two teenagers who are normally not into tours, enjoyed the combination of harbor cruising, BBQ & fixins, upbeat Jazz music and close-up viewing of the fireworks. The only negative was that the food (BBQ & slaw both) was overly salty, but not enough to spoil the experience. We've done several boat tours over the years, and this one was by far the most enjoyable. I'd highly recommend the fireworks version for familys and the non-fireworks version is wonderful for couples & singles looking to mingle a bit. Great job guys!

From the barbecue to best view on the harbor for the 4th of July this was a night to remember! We will remember seeing the fireworks like this for many years to come!!

This is my 3rd time for a Blues Cruise with Shrimp City Slim and Home Team aboard the Carolina Belle. Great fun always and especially on the 4th - the fireworks were spectacular.

We truely enjoyed both the harbor tour and the carrage ride. This was our second carrage ride and we learned new things about the city on each one. This was our first harbor tour and it was fun and interesting. my 11 year old loved the harbor tour the most, he went into the captains area and asked for a picture with him and he actually let him steer the ship for a bit. It was the highlight of his vacation. Would recomend these tours for anyone wanting to see the city from differnt views, you could do them over and over and learn new things each time.

Harbor Cruise very hot at 3:30, Would have liked to see buildings they were describing closer. Carriage ride was superb. We are horse owners and truly appreciated how well they treated their horses and how well they treated them. Also enjoyed the DVD they were showing regarding horse treatment/arm, etc. The tour was very informative and tour guide was great fun! Highly recommend it. Boone Plantation tour disappointed because only saw first floor and tour guide seemed to not be from the area, seemed to be from the northeast.. Gullah presentation was not what was advertised, more like a history lesson and long. Trolly tour at plantation was worth the price of admission, great tour guide and very informative. Home made ice cream topped the day. If we were to go again, would not do the boat tour.

We sat on the second row on the top front of the tour boat & had an excellent time! The captain kept us entertained & was very knowledgeable on the history of Charleston. Would do it again!

The harbor tour was kind of lame but it is nice to go past Ft. Sumter. We really enjoyed the Carriage Ride and our carriage driver was really fun. Boone Hall Plantation is worth the trip and is quite beautiful.
