Great Tour but watch out for bad weather!

| I went on the Harbor Tour first and as soon as we arrived it began storming pretty badly. We still went on the tour because we could not be refunded, but the weather became worse and worse and we were stuck in the middle of the storm. The storm was so bad we had to go inside and could not see the things the tour guide was pointing out to us due to the rain/fog. Other than that, the tour was great. It's interesting to see the city and surrounding areas by boat, so I'd definitely recommend it. Just make sure it's going to be a nice day when you book your tour. The carriage tour was fun and interesting. I wished we had seen more, but you're only allowed to go in certain "zones" and you never know which zone you're going to get until the ride begins. The tour also lasts about an hour, but the hour goes by rather quickly. The tour guide was informative and funny, and it was overall a great time. | ||||||

| My mom, sister, and I went. We loved the carriage tour. It was excellent. The tour guide was informative and took us on a scenic house route. We loved it. The harbour tour was not to our satisfaction. The tour guide had a recorded-like voice that was not entertaining nor easy to follow. It seemed not real or enthusiastic. The boat was way too far out to view any of the houses or other sites the man was describing. The facts were not the most intersting. The tour also was a bit too long. We were really dissapointed. I would not recommend the harbour tour-however I would STRONGLY recommend the carriage tour. The combo pack was a great idea though, we just wish the harbour part was more worth the price we paid. | ||||||

| I would recommend this tour. You could see may historical points of interest from the boat. Afterwards we could decide on some of the other tours we thought would be of interest to us. I was happy I had brought my binoculars. | ||||||

| We had family out from Seattle and we were disappointed that the ship didn't have a covered upper deck like the ship that takes you to Ft Sumter. So our relatives not used to the heat were really uncomfortable in the direct sun, although did go down below after awhile. But would recommend a covered sun deck! Other than that was a wonderful cruise and one I would do again. | ||||||

| I think it was a great tour and would do it again. IF small children were required to be seated at ALL times on the boat, and keep as quiet as they can while listening to the presentation. | ||||||

| The local history was well presented. Areas visited of interest to all. you might consider getting closer to & staying longer at aircraft carrier & Patriots point because all kids like that experience. | ||||||

| had a great time on the carriage ride with my wife and 2 year old son. the cruise was also good although we encountered heavy rain and could not enjoy it as fully as we would have liked. the price is very cheap for what we recieved. the guides on both activities were very knowledgable and friendly. | ||||||

| The boat tour was super fun and educational, we weren't sure if maybe it would be a tad bit boring but it totally wasn't, i would highly recommend it, it is affordable, entertaining, educational and romantic. My boyfriend and I went on it as a date and we took lots of photos, saw some dolphins, learned about Charleston and had a blast. Go on this tour! :) | ||||||

| This tour was very interesting and provided interesting historical information of Charleston and some of the surrounding areas. It also provided some current information on different aspects of the city itself and it's features. This was very relaxing being on the boat in the water and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants a laid-back informative tour of some beautiful sites! | ||||||

| Our whole group (5 people) thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Charleston Harbor aboard the Carolina Belle. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the pace of the tour was perfect. Seeing the area from the water lends a different perspective to the history of the of the Lowcountry. One can only imagine sailing into Charleston Harbor in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Thank you from all of us. | ||||||
