The Harbor tour was one of best I have ever experienced. The crew, especially Captain David was exceptional in his presentation of the points of interest that we passed. He was knowledgeable about the local history and that made the trip even more enjoyable. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the Charleston area.

It was a very windy, misty morning but still enjoyed the tour. A great over all history lesson of the Charleston harbor.

Captain was very knowledgeable and had a terrific sense of humor. Loved the music that was played, as well, at times…added to the experience.

It was a beautiful day in April. The tour guide gave an excellent narration of the harbor area around Charleston. It was comfortable sitting on deck. I will do it again when I am in Charleston.

The crew is very nice, and that made our activity one of the best we took while in Charleston. The captain and the crew members made this activity very relaxing and gave us a lot of information. Thank you

After a busy weekend visiting many places, this was an excellent overview of the city, relaxing and friendly staff and a different view of this American city.

90 minutes of history and fun

My friends and I enjoyed a beautiful day on the Cooper River in Charleston, courtesy of Harbor Tours. The crew was nice and very attentive. You can sit in chairs both in the front and back of the boat, and for those who didn't want as much sea air, the bottom level had an enclosed area where one of my friends said she still had a good view. Our captain was well versed in the historical points of interest and, during a short break, interacted with tourists to answer questions. We couldn't have had a better outing.

Great way to show off our city!

What a fun way to show off the beauty of Charleston to visiting friends and relatives. I had a great time on the Carolina Belle with my daughter and 2 grandchildrens who were visiting from Michigan. The kids especially enjoyed the history of the area that the Captain shared with us....and the dolphins sightings were an added bonus.

One of the favorites of our trip to Charleston!

Captain Henry was friendly and very informative; he supplied little anecdotes to help you remember the facts. The crew was friendly, smiling and accommodating. The boat ride was smooth and that was important to me as I tend to get seasick rather easily - no problem. We met people from all over and had a wonderful experience overall. Would take this trip again tomorrow!

Cold, but still fun.

The boat tour was enjoyable and informative despite spending 90 % inside the cabin due to the unseasonably cold weather. The carriage tour was very informative with an excellent tour guide, but the cold really affected this one, particularly the long wait inside the shady, dank barn. Perhaps a larger supply of blankets for your riders might be beneficial?

Weekend in Charleston
Mon, Mar 25, 13   11:30 AM jasinfla Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
This was our first trip to Charleston and we wanted to get an overview of the city. It was raining all day Sunday when we woke up. By afternoon it stopped raining. It was about 1 in the afternoon. We decided to make reservations for the 3:30 harbor tour. We gave all the information. We got in the car and on the way there, I received a telephone call from the people at harbor tour saying the 3:30 tour was cancelled due to the weather. Why wasn't I told that when we made the reservations. We were leaving the next day to return home. We had to go on the 11:30 tour on Monday. We wanted to be on the road for home by that time. It just upset us that we were not told Sunday that the tour was cancelled. I don't know what would have happened if our plans were to leave at 9:30 on Monday morning.

2 fun and informative days exploring Charleston

I am local and love to show off our City to visitors. My cousin, who is a history buff was was visiting from Virginia and thoroughly enjoyed both tours. They were informative and fun; the boat crew and the carriage driver really new their facts and also had interesting tidbits and a great sense of humor. My only suggestion is that Sunday March 17 was St. Patricks Day and quite chilly. I believe that if a few cans of Guiness were added to the cooler inventory and a stack of Charleston sweatshirts were available for sale on the boat, all would have been sold.

Fairly informative

The tour provided significant information about the history of Charleston's water front. The only lapse I found was there was no information about Mt. Pleasant after Ft. Sullivan, it would have been more interesting if during this period information was provided telling how the city came to be and when it was developed instead of 10 - 15 minutes of nothing.

The crew and guide were all great! Very friendly and informative and the boat itself was comfortable and clean. The boat docks within easy walking distance of Market St. area.
