Charleston Harbor Tours

it is great to see Charleston from the water, a whole different perspective. Highly recommed the cruise.

We enjoyed ourselves on the tour, wish there would have been a little more indepth history. The dolphins waved to us!

My friends and I enjoyed the food, drinks, music of Shrimp City Slim, and especially listening and dancing to John Primer - we all had a blast!

When purchasing the cruise we were lead to understand that we would disembark and tour the grounds of Fort Sumner like the other tour boats. Perhaps I misunderstood but, nonetheless, we were really disappointed that we only cruised around the fort. Otherwise the cruise was enjoyable.

Carriage tour is attractive. Maybe it was christmas break, so many people went to charleston for vacations. We did not get a perfect route. But the lady told us some useful information, and we can drive to the places of interests by ourselves after the tour. The harbor tour is awesome. I like the captain. He is very humorous.

Having lived here over 20 years, I decided to finally take a Harbor Cruise. It was great! The music with Shrimp City Slim and guest Wanda Johnson was amazing! It was the perfect ambience for a relaxing evening. The dinner catered by Home Team BBQ was also delicious. It was a great night out with friends and being over at 8 pm, was not too late for a weekday. Will definitely go again!!

We enjoyed our carriage ride and harbor tour. The seating on the top of the boat could be a little better as you couldn't always see what the captain was talking about. The folks at the harbor tour were very nice and called to inform us that the 1:30pm tour we were scheduled for had a lot of teen group and they allowed us to switch to the later trip.

We did the combo Charleston Harbor/Carriage ride Tour and loved it. This was our first visit to Charleston and this was a great way to see the city and learn about the history of the area.

Very informative captain on harbor tour - spoke slowly and gave interesting details. No made up stories. Carraige ride great; however "Rebel" spent alot of time talking to Fred the mule and promoting her own and her husband's books. She could have given more informative rather than "cute" stories.

The combo ticket is a great deal and both the Harbor Tour and the Carriage Ride were very enjoyable. The guides were knowledgeable and utilized humor in their presentation of historical facts which made it very interesting. The one thing that would be nice is to know ahead of time what route the carriage ride has been assigned as you may not always get the route you thought you would. The Palmetto Carriage Ride is a family run business and they were extremely nice and have a great routine down pat to minimize waiting!

Get to the ticket place early as you might have to wait for a carriage ride and you won't want to miss your boa t ride

If you've never been to Charleston, these are 2 things you must do to get a real taste of the city and it's culture. Very affordable, the most bang for your buck.

The barbeque was great. The band provided wonderful entertainment.
