The homes, the fort, the layout of the shore all made this an outstanding tour. We would recommend it to anyone who visits Charleston. |

The atmosphere was charged with excitement as soon as we were quizzed on the dock. My lovely wife and I enjoyed the cast, the riverboat, Charleston harbor and the fellow passengers. With the cast being interactive my wife and I actually felt like we were part of the entertainment. We would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to fill their night with a memorable experience. Thanks for the memories! |

it was very fun - the only bad thing, especially having a large group of adults celebrating a birthday - the bartender had no idea what the "speak-easy social" drink was - this is included in the description of the event....that was a little sad - but other than that - a fun time was had by all |

I think our captain's name was Craig, but can't really remember for sure. But anyway, he was great! He provided lots of information, answered questions and even had trivia questions for the tourists. That really made it fun! He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this to anyone! |

The tours give you a great overview of the area. We took the full trolley ride first and decided what we wanted to visit. Hopped back on the trolley and got off where we wanted to see more details or to shop, etc. The ghost tour was fun and not too scary. The actress was very good. We enjoyed the dinner cruise, food was good, well presented and plentiful and the river area is beautiful at night. Guides on all the tours were very knowledgable and very pleasant and courteous. |

We did the harbor tour first and we LOVED it!! I thought it was very informative and fun...and I thought it was nice to have a snack bar on the boat. We were able to see bottlenose dolphins and get a close up view of Fort Sumter. The carriage tour was great as well. Very informative and we had a great tour guide (Bones). We were very happy with him and with both tours. We would most certainly recommend this to others! Just be aware the last carriage tour leaves at 4:00! |

The Boone Hall plantation was my wifes favorite. The house tour was awesome. We could actually go into the rooms instead of looking from behind velvet ropes. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't tour the second floor. Ground tour was equally impresstive. Very knowledable and friendly captain and staff on the harbor cruize. I liked that the captain took the time to come and talk with all the people aboard. The carriage ride was fun and informative. Great way to see and learn about Charleston before taking off on our own. |

I was doing both the harbor tour and the carriage ride and had requested a schedule that wouldn't work (not enough time between activities). A rep from Zerve called me within 30 mins, told me of the issue, and gave me an alternate schedule that worked out perfect.
The tours were OK, nothing makes one company much better than the other - they all use the same tour routes that are dictated by the city. What makes the difference between the various companies is the driver/tour guide and how well they know the area and the history.
I've been on 3 different carriage tours in Charleston and this was probably the least engaging tour. The tour was technically accurate and interesting, but the guide was not a native of the area (fairly recent transplant) and he didn't have the pride and depth of stories that the other tours I've been on had. Listening to a native Charlestonian talk about their city makes the tour much better. |

Enjoyed both cruise (Craig was great and evidently much more fun than a group of friends who took a different cruise at the same time) and carriage ride (guide did a great job telling us a lot about Charleston in just an hour); would definitely recommend to others to do this. Kids (age 15, 12, and 9) all enjoyed both events completely and learned a lot. They all want to return to Charleston! |

The harbor tour was enjoyable and relaxing, especially after the crowds and traffic in the historic district. The captain mentioned seafood restaurants on Shem Creek, across the bridge in Mt. Pleasant. We drove over there after the tour and we enjoyed a nice seafood dinner along with a great view of the shrimp boats and the water. |

Getting the tickets were a PAIN! I had to create a login instead of just clicking a link in the email. I'm a tourist who will never use this login again. And your email did not provide alot of details. So after 3 tries we finally were able to print the tickets. I'm not at home and was using the hotel computer with other people waiting. You should change this practice. |
