Good deal and good way to get a glimpse

| Both tours were a nice way to see Charleston from different angles (water and land). The combo is a good deal and while we did the carriage tour right after the boat tour, it is nice to have the option to do one later if you are all toured out or just want to explore for a while on your own. I only wish we had done the carriage tour earlier in our visit since it helps you get orientated in the city and also you see sites on the way that you might want to go back to, like churches and houses that are museums etc. Zerve was easy to deal with and even though we booked 1 hour before the boat left, our information was quickly transmitted to the desk were we checked in for the tour. In the future when shopping for a tour, I will check Zerve first. | ||||||

| We had a great time. The kids were thrilled because we saw dolphins before we even left dock. They love that. It was a nice paced boat ride. Not too fast where everything was a blur. We had a great experience. Kids also loved that there were food and drink aboard. We fed the kids lunch on the boat which kept them from boardem, you know how a two and five year old could be. It really was perfect. No complaints, worth the money. Great photos taken...all n all excellent time had by all! | ||||||

| I thought the tour was very good and very informative. The tour guide/captain was very knowledgable of the harbor. The boat also appeared to be in good shape and safe. | ||||||

| I have lived in Charleston for a few years, but I had never been on a harbor cruise, so I treated my cousin to a cruise for her birthday. It was so relaxing to just sit and look at the sites and to watch dolphins, pelicans, and sea gulls. The information was quite informative and interesting. I would definitely recommend the harbor cruise. | ||||||

| The tour offered a comfortable way for older folks to see and hear about the historical features of the Charleston Harbor. The dry humor and style of the commentator was entertaining, but a bit monotonous in tone. Getting off the boat was a challange for the elderly since the tide had risen and they had to walk down a much steeper ramp to get off than they did to get on. The AC was welcome on a very hot day. | ||||||

Charleston Habour Tour

| The Harbour tour was very informative and the guide very entertaining I just thought it would have been better to have a stop such as a stop on Fort Sutmner instead of having to take another tour to see Fort Sutmner. It should be combined as a Harbour tour and a stop at Fort Sutmner with a tour there and then back. Also more parking required in Charleston if you just want to walk around. | ||||||

| We were looking forward to seeing the Battery from the water, which was the reason we booked the tour. The only photo opportunity of the Charleston skyline was when the boat was leaving the dock. Views of Fort Sumter and the Ravenel Bridge were great, however, and the narrator did a good job. It was a very warm day and the inside seating provided no relief from the heat. Compared to other water tours we have taken in numerous cities, this one ranks low. | ||||||

| Both tours were great. The harbor tour was 90 minutes and the carriage tour was 60 minutes. Not too long, not too short. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable and provided an abundance of history and information. | ||||||

| Both the harbor tour and carriage ride were great, but the kids especially liked the horse-drawn carriage. | ||||||

| My family highly recommend this tour to all who will take the time to view a beautiful and historical area and learn from your Captain on the tour boat and your driver of the carriage ride through Charleston. I purchased our tickets through Zerve and when we arrived all was waiting at the harbor. THis was my first ttime using Zerve and I would definately use them again. Again, my family and I had a wonderful experience. When you take the tour bu sure and take both your camera and your video camera to document your experience. | ||||||

| We took a tour on a small air conditioned bus, (A MUST), in the morning and it was excellent, Adventure Tours. Our guide Judy was excellent and fun. She provided a lot of history and facts. To round it out we took the Harbor Tour in the afternoon and it provided a different perspective from the water. The Captain and his crew were great. The Captain's description of various places and sites was excellent and different then the morning tour. We highly recommend the back to back. Great pictures but make sure you bring your telephoto lens! The best was the Jimmy Buffet music, a cold beer and cruising one of the US's most interesting harbors. | My Son and I took this trip together and we both agreed that the carriage ride was the better of the two. Our guide Rebel (girl) was so informative and delightful. The horse named Chief was gentle and gave us a good ride. I will go again with my husband and hope to get the same girl. There are about 5 different routes that can be taken and they are done on a lottery style system. We toured the oldest part of the city and it was full of history. Next I would love to tour the battery. We liked the harbour tour also but felt that for us the carriage was the best. I would definately recommend both tours! | ||||||
