Tour was good. Very relaxing.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed both parts of this combination tour. It was a little chilly on the harbor tour but the crew on the boat did an excellent job. The captain's commentary on what we were seeing as we cruised was first rate. Our driver on the carriage part was just as good. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We have taken several carriage tours in Charleston but this one was by far the best we've been on.. I would highly recommend this package to anyone who wants to learn more about Charleston and its' history.

We went on both the Harbor tour and the plantation. The boat trip was fun and informational. We had never been to that area and seen fort Sumpter so that was very interesting. There was smooth sailing and my wife experienced no "sea sickness" at all. The plantation was the better of the two, we thought. Although it had rained and the roads were a little muddy, it was a good time. On the riding tour around the grounds, we got soaked even though there was a roof over us, because we sat on the front seats. Even then we enjoyed it thoroughly.

The weather was gorgeous so that made the whole experience especially enjoyable. For the last 45 mins of the tour; we were completely entertained by 8 or so Dolphins; who decided to follow the boat all the way back to the dock. We would defintely do it again.

my wife and i were in charleston on vacation. i recommend this combo pack. the harbor tour was fun but i recommend getting there a little early for a seat in front of boat. the carriage tour was awesome. it was very romantic wrapped in a blanket with my wife on horse drawn carriage. the carriage tour guide was funny and very knowledgable about charleston. we had a great time.

Cruise: The cruise was very nice and the captain was entertaining. The history lesson was quite informative and we learned a couple of things we didn't know. Plantation: The plantation tour was enlightening also. A side note, because the plantation cut off tours at 5:00 PM, it would have been nice to know what kind of time frame we we working with. We didn't get to do a couple of things (like the carriage tour) that we would have enjoyed. But all of the folks at the plantation were very nice.

I think this would have been much better with a different caterer. We had some great bar-b-q in the Charleston area (Sticky Fingers, which I'm sure you know caters as well) while we were there, but the Home Team BBQ was not all that great. The music was great, Shrimp City Slim was great!

We enjoyed the cruise very much. Looking forward to our next trip with Harbor Tours.

Wonderful weather, boat was smooth, fantastic BBQ, and outstanding music. Boat was a little old, but that is the only negative I can think of.

BOAT WAS A GARBAGE SCOW, CREW NOT GREAT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SNACK BAR HOSTESS, WINDOWS LEAKED, BOAT DIRTY, CAPTAIN NOT PARTICULARY FRIENDLY...UNLIKE ALL THE OTHER GREAT TRAVEL EXPERIENCES IN CHARLSTON, SC.

The harbor tour was scheduled for 15:30, Sat 11Oct2009. This was to be followed by the carriage ride. When we arrived at the harbor, we were advised that the carriage ride ceased operation at 15:00 and that we would have to return another day. Our visit to Charleston was for a meeting, making a return visit unlikely. The package was purchased via the internet from the hotel. It was either not listed or I failed to accurately see the conflict of the harbor tour and carriage ride times. As a result, we had to purchase a carriage ride from Carolina Polo Carriage Co for an additional 39.00$ (party of 3). I called the emergency number and was advised to contact the owner by e-mail.

The ride on the "Carolina Belle" was a great adventure into the harbor. The Belle captain and the crew were knowledgable and friendly. The information provided from them helped us understand the old Charleston history. The carridge ride was just as informative and fun. The tour guide was knowledgable and handled the carridge very well. A must do when in town.

Tour is well worth your time. It takes you all along the harbor and the forts in the harbor area. Got to see Fort Sumpter close up as well as some traffic coming to port, tugs and freighters. There is always something to see and the guys tell of great history of the past.
