The harbor tour was excellent. For once I could clearly hear what the speaker
was saying. There was a choice of indoor or outdoor seating which was nice
because it was a very warm day.
The carriage tour was wonderful. We had an excellent guide. Wish I could recall
her name. She was very knowledgeable and it was obvious that she enjoyed what
she was doing.
The combo tour was excellent. It was worth the price which was a real value.
I highly recommend the tour to everyone! |

My husband and I really enjoyed the tours we went on. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really loved the Boone Hall Plantation tour and all the activities that were there. The tours were the best part of the trip and we are anxious to come back and go on many more tours. |

Charleston Harbor Cruise & Palmetto Carriage Ride
|
|||||

The harbor cruise is a must for every visitor. The Captain & crew were not only informative but entertaining. Caution: Dress in layers as it can be cold and windy out on the open water. The carriage ride was also very informative and it was enjoyable; however, participants should know that you are seated very tightly together. It may be uncomfortable and that is a distraction. If you book the ride when it is not in demand, there may be less people on the carriage and it would be much more desirable. |

This tour was very interesting and provided interesting historical information of Charleston and some of the surrounding areas. It also provided some current information on different aspects of the city itself and it's features. This was very relaxing being on the boat in the water and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants a laid-back informative tour of some beautiful sites! |

This tour was a wonderful way to get out on the harbor and see all the surrounding buildings, ships, beautiful homes, and of course Fort Sumter. The captain and crew were wonderful and you can certainly learn a lot about Charleston through this tour. A definite "to do" while visiting Charleston! |

Dining Experience gets an "F"

We have taken serveral dinner tours in the past. We live in Summerville and always find an excuse to bring out of town visitors to the Harbour. However, this was our first BBQ & Blues Cruise and our last unless something is done. It was our 37th Anniversary. Something very special. We were there early. However, the only place we found was to sit in chairs on the top deck. There were not enough tables for all to sit and enjoy the meal. If was very difficult juggling a drink in one hand and a plate on my lap holding a napkin so it wouldn't blow away in the other hand. I became so frustrated that I was not able to even finish my food. The BBQ was GREAT what I had of it. Could not eat the chicken because I needed 2 hands....very awkward. I LOVE doing the dinner cruises, however, I cannot recommend this particular cruise unless I give a strong message that you better be prepared to stand and eat...This experience put a bad "TASTE" in my mouth. I suggest setting up more tables on the top deck as well as utilize the food deck ...there was too much room taken for the food set up that was wasted....or....use assigned seating or don't book so many people! What should have been an entirely enjoyable evening started off with irritations....once we got passed the food dilemma, the music and new friends we made were delightful! |

I could not believe they asked for tips at the end of the cruise. If i remember right I paid for the cruise and if the crew abord the vessel did nothing for me to ear a tip in anyway shape or form. Actually the guy narrating the cruise talked to the people in the front of the boat and by the time the rear of the boat got there no one knew what to look for. Oh yea and the Plantation was not a Plantation. It was a replica home builtin 1935. |

We have taken the cruise twice.
The first we enjoyed very much. The musicians were downstairs and we found this to be better than the second trip when the musicians were downstairs.
The caterers are excellent. Very friendly and personable, they make every effort to meet needs. |

Boat captain and crew were excellent to passengers. Tour was very good. Only issue was a group of senior citizens were first in line however by the time they walked the 50 yards or so to the boat they had been passed by running younger passengers or ones who on purpose walked faster to past them. The seniors were not slow walkers. |
