If you've never been to Charleston, these are 2 things you must do to get a real taste of the city and it's culture. Very affordable, the most bang for your buck.

informative, relevant, historic, and over enjoyabl

The carriage ride was very enjoyable partly because of the guides knowledge and enthusiasm and personality. The handling of boat passengers left a lot to be desired. Getting on and off was tricky due to lack of proper boarding facility. Too much space between boat and pier. Better control of loading and unloading seems in order. Personnel should show more concern for passenger safety. The ride itself lacked the perspective experienced by the carriage time. It lacked the tangibles the carriage ride offered. In my opinion, depending on weather, aan open boat would have been more enjoyable even though it lacked true scenic offerings.

Tour was very good and fun, boat crew was great

Boat captain and crew were excellent to passengers. Tour was very good. Only issue was a group of senior citizens were first in line however by the time they walked the 50 yards or so to the boat they had been passed by running younger passengers or ones who on purpose walked faster to past them. The seniors were not slow walkers.

We've been to Charleston several times, but this is the first time we took the harbor tour. The harbor tour is a nicely paced and informative ride, and when combined with the land tour by carriage, you get a well-rounded look at the history of the town. We highly recommend it.

There was confusion on the combined tour that we could walk over and get on carriage right away. There was over an hour delay and it was an inconvenience with our schedule but we are delighted that we did it.

This was a very easy and great way to buy tickets for an event. We got tickets for the Charleston harbor cruise and the carriage ride combo and we got excellent service online and at the events.. Everyone was so nice and informative and we had fun on both rides.. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling or just looking for something out of the ordinary to do.

Rain, Rain, Rain

We all enjoyed the carriage ride through Charleston on Sunday. The harbor cruise tour was canceled due to weather on Monday. They were kind enough to contact us by phone on Monday morning and refunded our money for this event. The man at the entrance gate of Boone Farm was not very welcoming or forthcoming with information. Maybe he, too was effected by the rain. At the Boone Hall Farm Plantation, we were able to tour the interior of the home. The tour was only 30 minutes and we were only allowed to see the first floor. I knew that the home is a residence, but I thought that was unique to this tour and we would have been able to see more than what was shown. We chose not to visit the slave quarters and the other buildings because of the rain and wind. We were told that the tram was not running and everything was self guided. We were not able to have the garden tour or plantation tour which we were all looking forward to after spending the day before at the Taste of Charleston which was held at Boone Farm. It would have been nice to be called and told what the circumstances were that day and what was still operating, as the Harbor Cruise did.

Great Time

I went with my husband and 2 daughters and we had a blast. I enjoyed listening to the historical information and taking pictures, my husband enjoyed watching the water and looking at Fort Sumter, and the kids liked watching the dolphins pop up and swim around. This tour was very informative and relaxed. We had a great time and would definitely reccommend it to anyone wanting to go. Captain Dave and his first mate were great too. He took a break in the middle of the tour to talk to people around the boat. Overall very fun.

The harbour and carriage tour was perfect for our group of four 60+ seniors but would be just as suitable for a younger group.
