The tour of Charleston Harbor was beautiful. The boat captain was fun and knowledgeable, the sites were great, and it was an excellent way to take a break from a day of walking the city while still being able to enjoy beautiful Charleston. Definitely a must for anyone considering a visit! |

I would definitely recommend the harbor tour/carriage ride combo. We learned different facets of Charleston history from each tour. I enjoyed the carriage ride best because our guide used humor in his presentation and I liked the up-close look at Charleston. |

Very friendly and informative staff on all the tours. Everyone went above and beyound what was expected. I have been on other tours before and this one was the best. It was not just a "job" to the staff, it was a part of who they are, they take pride in thier job and their heraitage and it shows. I highly reccomend this combination tour to tourists visiting Charleston. |

The harbor cruise aboard the Carolina Belle was very informative and thorough. It was relaxing, as well, although it was a hot day and my wife and I got somewhat overheated. The lower deck is air-conditioned, although I don't know how well, since there were fans blowing in addition to the a/c. The crew was very friendly and enthusiastic, and young. I never got a sense of ennui from giving the same tour many times.
I really only have one small criticism. In the brochure for the tour, the operators noted that cruises begin ON TIME and requested that guests arrive at least 15 minutes early, so as to assure that they are on board when the crew casts off. My wife and I did so and boarded the ship on time. The captain announced that we would be leaving in a couple of minutes. However, we did not cast off at the scheduled time. In fact, the boat didn't begin moving until nearly 25 minutes after it was scheduled to do so. The skipper gave no reason as to why we were waiting, although I noted a number of late arrivals. Had it been a cool day, the delay would not have meant much. However, it was a hot day and there was no breeze at the stern where we were and we started to roast in the sun. We did not want to go below deck to cool off because we did not want to relinquish our seats. Of course, we did finally get moving and my wife and I greatly enjoyed the harbor tour. So my only criticism is that if you say you depart on time in your brochures, then that is what you should do. I think that is especially important when you have young children, or when you are touring on a tight schedule. |

Had a great time on both the boat & carriage. Both were very informative and an easy way to get an overview of the Charleston harbor and downtown historical area. The carriage driver was very knowledgeable and was a local. |

We were a group of four African American women, 50s+, who traveled to Charleston from the Virginia Beach area for five days. We researched activities that appeared interesting. The Sunset Blues & BBQ Dinner Cruise was fantastic. The barbecue dinner was tasty...pulled pork served with choice of sauces, served w/bun, chicken, cole slaw, etc. What we enjoyed most was the live band!. They truly entertained the guests by playing familiar blues tunes. Guests were from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and many of us danced, sipped on cocktails and drinks, and chatted with each other. This activity is on our "do it again" list when we return to Charleston! |

had a great time, very good blues band. If you like to dance & have a good time this is for you! Food was ok but if you go for the music, you'll have a great time and the more you dance the better they play! |
