Charleston Harbor Tours

We all really enjoyed the tour and it was a great value.

the people we meet were very friendly and had a fun time watching the fireworks.

The two tours provided background on the history of Charleston. We thoroughly enjoyed both of them. I have been to Charleston many times, but I learned many things on the tours. I would recommend to everyone.

We had bought tickets a few days ahead, but did not realize that we needed to line up actually out on the dock so early. As a result, although we planned ahead, and arrived 15 mins. early as suggested, we had less than desirable seating available. Having to sit down below and on the left side of the boat offered poor views of what the comentary pointed out.. Get in line plenty early to be on the top deck , or at least the right hand side of the boat downstairs. If the boat could plan a route that gave both sides an opportunity to be the 'best side" for part of the trip, it would be better.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND TRIP VERY INTERSTING .STAFF WERE VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY. IF YOU GO TO CHARLESTON THIS IS A MUST DO ON YOUR LIST.

We enjoyed visiting Boone Plantation, seeing the sites and learning the History. We heard about the Gullah lifestyle, took a wonderful, narrated, motorized tour around the Plantation, walked through the House and garden. It was an afternoon we will not soon forget. The Harbor Tour promised to be as spectacular...We were counting on it giving us an historic perspective on the city of Charleston, and transporting us to Ft. Sumter. The tour was cancelled, so we hopped aboard a water taxi and went to see the USS Yorktown instead. I fell like we missed out on a huge chunk of the Charleston experience because neither the water taxi, nor the Charleston Harbor Night Cruise gave Historical information or a visual tour of the entire area. My advice would be to schedule your tour early, if it is cancelled you will still have time to take a later trip.

Very informative about Savannah. The combination of the trolley tour and the harbor tour gave me a very good understanding of Savannah history. An excellent way to spend the day. Good value for the money.

A very enjoyable evening. The music was great, the food was ok and the evening went well despite the temperature that evening. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area as a great way to spend 2-3 hours in the evening.

Nice relaxing tour with great narrative of Charleston and Charleston harbor. Boat left right on time and returned right on time. Highly reccomend.

We went on both the Harbor Cruise and the Carriage Ride. Both were excellent. Our son got a little seasick on the cruise and the entire crew all stopped by to check on him during the trip, wow!!! The carriage ride was fun, the guide was a local and a history major and gave some great facts about Charleston. We highly recommend both.

We really enjoyed the harbor tour and carriage ride. The captain on the harbor tour was very informative and interesting. It was a beautiful day. Sit up top in the front if you have sun screen;otherwise, sit below but also up front because you can see better. The carriage ride was also fun and interesting. Gay was a great tour guide and driver. We learned so many things about Charleston's history. Lavern the hybrid mule with the eating disorder was hysterical. Gay had her hands full keeping Lavern away from low-hanging trees.

We had a great experience on both tours. I think we enjoyed the carriage ride more. The guide on the harbor tour was ridiculous though! He needs to stop over pronouncing things. He was trying to sound like an announcer! The carriage guide was great!!!

The boat ride was great, saw the dolpins, lots of wild life. The Captin was very informitive Carraige ride was wonderful, its a great way to learn the history of the the city.
