This was our first trip to Charleston and we wanted to get an overview of the city. It was raining all day Sunday when we woke up. By afternoon it stopped raining. It was about 1 in the afternoon. We decided to make reservations for the 3:30 harbor tour. We gave all the information. We got in the car and on the way there, I received a telephone call from the people at harbor tour saying the 3:30 tour was cancelled due to the weather. Why wasn't I told that when we made the reservations. We were leaving the next day to return home. We had to go on the 11:30 tour on Monday. We wanted to be on the road for home by that time. It just upset us that we were not told Sunday that the tour was cancelled. I don't know what would have happened if our plans were to leave at 9:30 on Monday morning. |

I purchased tickets ahead of time and did not realize that they were non-refundable, until after they were purchased. The day we were to go on our Harbor Tour and Carriage Ride, it poured out and was really really cold. Needless to say, we had to go on the tours or loose our money. Wish that I would have waited and purchased when I got there - that way, I would have known how the weather was going to be and made a decision to go or not. Very disappointed in the tours because you could not enjoy it all soaken wet and cold! |

Our visit to the plantation was good but cut short by the rain and very cool temperature. Unfortunately we were not able to do the harbor tour because it was cancalled on Sunday due to rain and we were not able to get it in before our departure time early afternoon oN Monday. |

First time in S. Carolina and it is a beautiful place with so much history.
This boat tour was very informative about the battle that took place at Ft. Sumpter and the surrounding area. |

I am local and love to show off our City to visitors. My cousin, who is a history buff was was visiting from Virginia and thoroughly enjoyed both tours. They were informative and fun; the boat crew and the carriage driver really new their facts and also had interesting tidbits and a great sense of humor.
My only suggestion is that Sunday March 17 was St. Patricks Day and quite chilly. I believe that if a few cans of Guiness were added to the cooler inventory and a stack of Charleston sweatshirts were available for sale on the boat, all would have been sold. |

The tour provided significant information about the history of Charleston's water front. The only lapse I found was there was no information about Mt. Pleasant after Ft. Sullivan, it would have been more interesting if during this period information was provided telling how the city came to be and when it was developed instead of 10 - 15 minutes of nothing. |

The crew and guide were all great! Very friendly and informative and the boat itself was comfortable and clean. The boat docks within easy walking distance of Market St. area. |

All of the guides were charismatic and gave plenty of historical information. We found all three tours to be welcoming, convenient, interesting and worthwhile. My wife and I would recommend this package to anyone visiting the area. |

Had a friend in town from Michigan, where I'm from. I was on another harbor cruise with my work group a while back. It was a decent trip. The captain did a very good job. I will bring other friends and family to the cruise when they come to town if I can afford it. Coupons or discounts for repeat customers would be appreciated though. |

Nice boat ride (the captain was very knowledgeable about the area) and the carriage ride was also nice as well. Be aware that the carriage ride may already be booked full when you show up, so don't go late in the afternoon, or call ahead to put your name on the list. |

Helpful for understanding some light history. Personally, I'd prefer heavier history and lighter on captain banter, but I realize that banter may be more a crowd pleaser. |

Great sights and narration of all the wonderful history of Charleston - and the ride under the Cooper River Bridge was awesome. |
