This was our first time to Charleston. We wanted to take in as much of the city during our short stay and took the harbor and carriage tours! One word to summarize our experience...OUTSTANDING!!! The guides were great and full of interesting information about all the sites we saw. Will definitely go again. Don't miss the harbor tour on the Carolina Belle and the carriage tour with Palmetto Carriage. |

The tour was informative for adults but for little ones, 3 & under, not much for them to do. |

I took out of state family on the tri-combo. It was great and an easy plan. Perfect way to entertain your guests. They all enjoyed it very much. A nice variety to cover the highlights of Charleston. Make sure you have at least two days to attend all 3! |

Charleston Harbor tour and Carriage Ride

The harbor tour was the best of the two tours which lasted just about an hour; toured harbor with narration of sites etc. The carriage ride was just "OK". 16 on the carriage and its the luck of the draw on which tour you get as the city only allows so many carriages on each route thus the route is determined at the last second by a lottery ball. Our tour did not include the Rainbow Row or Battery Park which would have been nice. So, either be lucky or question the other carriage tours as to their route prior to making a selection. Or spend the extra buck an take a "private" carriage tour! |

We thoroughly enjoyed all three tours. All of the tour guides were very friendly and knowledgable of the sites, including the history of each site. It was my first trip to Charleston, SC and I hope very much to make it back there again. Having been born and raised in the south (Atlanta), I felt a great sense of pride in the history of Charleston. |

Our group really enjoyed this cruise around the harbor, and visiting friends from St. Louis loved the tour history given about the sights within our view. Dolphins were even sighted! So glad it was a cloudy day so we could enjoy being on the upper deck without the sun beating down on us, however, there are accommodations with air conditioning for those less acclimatized. Very enjoyable afternoon. |

Very interesteing tour of both Charleston by water, and discovering the past and the Gullah people at Boones Hall plantation. Well worth the price of admission, especially the plantation. |

Overall this was a good experience and we most certainly will do it in the future. A few minor gripes: Hometeam BBQ ran out of a few items (Chicken, Coleslaw) within minutes of our departure. We did overhear the server callling his boss of the situation and it sounded as if he was genuinely concerned about fixing it in the future. The music was occasionally too loud at times which made it difficult to sit near the band. Otherwise, a positive experience. |

We have dine this cruise many times in the past but this was disappointing because they ran out of chicken and Cole slaw 45 minutes into the cruise . The band advertised was Shrimp City Slim and he was out of the country . I have recommended this to many but now I will hesitate till I know someone us on top of the issue .
Thanks

This was our first visit (my husband and I) to Charleston. We especially enjoyed the carriage ride. Our driver was very informative as well as comical. He made the ride quite interesting. The Boone Hall Plantation was a place we were very glad we chose. To see an actual working farm, a beautiful house, learn about the Gullah culture, bought blackberry jam (made from blackberries grown on th farm) and fresh peaches. We spent 3 days there and plan to visit again. There is still much to see and do. |

It was one of the best tours I have been on. You get to choose the time to take the carriage tour and can delay the time to go to the Plantation. |
