Charleston Harbor Tours

Extremely knowledgeable and personable guides on both the Harbor Tour and the Carriage Tour. It rained the day I took the Harbor Tour; it was still lots of fun, although all my photos look watery!! Saw lots of dolphins, too. Jody, the guide on the carriage tour, was amazing. Lots of info delivered in a very upbeat and interesting manner. She kept everyone engaged, even the several children in our group. If you can only do one tour, I'd recommend the carriage tour!!

We went on a pretty rainy and foggy day, but still had fun. Captain was very friendly, let our daughter steer the boat for awhile. Very informative tour, quite a few attractions viewable from tour - I'm sure it would have been moreso if the sun was out.

Boone Hall Plantation was amazing. Allow about 4 hours in order to see everything, take every tour, and still have time for lots of photographs. The harbor tour was wonderful as well....best pics are from the front outside top deck. The only thing that was slightly difficult was that if you want to do the plantation before the boat ride, you have to go by the office to get a voucher. But all in all a great experience.

Really enjoyed the Harbor Tour. Carriage Ride was nice but enjoyed the Harbor tour more.

First time to visit Charleston,Loved the city and the tours really helped to learn the history of how wonderful the city really is. Looking forward to return again with a year.

The Harbor Tour was great. Captain and crew were great. The Carriage Tour was pretty much a total zoo. Too many people, not enough staff, not very well organized. The ride itself was fine, the experience was a bit chaotic

Both the Carriage Ride and the Boat Tour were very informative and enjoyable!

If the day is sunny, wear sunblock. Obvious advice, perhaps, yes, but trust me, it's advice you should take.

We very much enjoyed our tour around Charleston harbor. You get a much different perspective of the layout of the city and its history. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable and they made the trip a lot of fun. The captain even came around and took pictures for people so their whole party could be in the shot. Would go again.

Our group bought the tri-combo tickets online and brought our e-tickets. We loved all of the tours we went on. However, we ran into several problems because the ticket office that was supposed to give us our vouchers was not open at the time we went on the carriage ride, so the carriage company let us go on with just our e-tickets but when we went to the plantation the next day, we almost didn't get to go in and had to call several people to even get in because we only had our e-tickets. This wasted about at least 30 minutes of our time, I think the voucher/e-ticket system needs to be re-thought-out..or at least have the ticket office open before the carriage and plantation tours !

We really enjoyed ourselves! We had limited time in charleston,We did both in one day and had a wonderful lunch in between.

Would absolutely recommend the harbor tours!

We are parttime residents who enjoy learning more about the Charleston area. Last week friends from Florida visited us in Charleston, and we decided to do the harbor and carriage tour combo. Both tours were informative, but we especially enjoyed the carriage tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and energetic. His love of all things Charleston was obvious. An added bonus was the surprisingly low cost of our afternoon of entertainment. We truly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this combo tour.

The combination of the harbor tour and the carriage tour was great. We got an overview of Charleston and were able to go back and see the things we wanted to know more about. The carriage driver we was very entertaining and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the tour. I've decided I will always take a tour like this when I visit a city that I've never been to before.
