Most enjoyable

We did the Tri-Combo, which was the cruise, carriage ride and plantation. All were well worth visiting. Getting from one activity to the other was a very short car ride, and each one had available parking close by. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and answered all questions. We would do the trip again.

Both the Harbor Tour and Carriage Ride were a lot of fun and both tour guides were very knowledgeable and provided lots of information on the area. We did the Harbor Tour in the morning and the Carriage Tour in the afternoon. It was an enjoyable day and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the Charleston area and it's history.

Location and parking were convenient, tour was relaxing and very informative, enjoyed being on the water but it was a little cool and windy for being on deck. Having the enclosed area was welcomed. Good narration from our captain. Would recommend to others and give a 4 out of 5 stars rating.

Very interesting

The tour of Charleston Harbor was very informative and interesting. The captain provided us with alot of information. The only thing that would have made it better would have been docking at Fort Sumter and getting to look inside the fort. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Boone Hall. There were many interesting programs there.

I had no problems with this tour. The tour speaker was clear and to the point with helpful information about the sights seen as we traveled the harbor area.

Carriage ride

I had taken a carriage ride before moving to the Charleston area, but the second time was just as enjoyable. The seat was a little cramped since we had to put 4 people in it, but it wasn't really uncomforable. The guide was local and knowledgeable which is a plus since I've been on tours where the guide had just memorized the speech.

thoroughly enjoyed the cruise

It was a beautiful day for a November cruise. We all really enjoyed the cruise. The time allotted was just about perfect. It was not crowded, so we could move around easily to see the sights. The tour was educational and not a recording, so it seemed more personal. I've lived in Charleston for almost 2 years and this was my first harbor cruise. I would certainly take visitor again.

Great Overall Charleston Tour By Land/Sea
Sat, Oct 23, 10   1:30 PM suephil Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The Charleston harbor tour was very enjoyable; the captain/tour operator was knowledgeable and entertaining. The carriage ride was, as always, entertaining. It's interesting how every tour guide gives different points of interest about the area so, after a few rides, you get lots of little bits of interesting facts.

Relaxing and informative

The tour was very well organized and managed. The tour was informative from an historical prospective. The captain's presentation and humor were a little too hoakey for my taste but that's a personal perspective. Others may have enjoyed and appreciated his presentation more than I. All in all, I would say that the tour came off as I had expected; not a disappointment.

We very much recommend the combo tour. It was a great way to see a great deal of Charleston for those who have very little time in the area.

An excellent value!

Our mid-October, 90-minute cruise was wonderful in every way: the gloriously sunny fall weather; the terrific value of the cruise itself; and the witty, "captivating" captain/narrator all combined for a most pleasant afternoon. My sisters were visiting from Napa, Ca., and Coeur d'Alene, Id., and we all had a grand time! Thank y'all for the fun, relaxing, informative hour and a-half! This was my second time (I live in Atlanta) and is a must-do for my guests, when visiting Charleston.
