Charleston Harbor Tours

It was a beautiful day for a November cruise. We all really enjoyed the cruise. The time allotted was just about perfect. It was not crowded, so we could move around easily to see the sights. The tour was educational and not a recording, so it seemed more personal. I've lived in Charleston for almost 2 years and this was my first harbor cruise. I would certainly take visitor again.

We enjoyed the afternoon and were awed by the history we saw come alive.

Below you will see the confirmation I received after purchasing tickets for the Charleston Harbor Tour and Boone Hall Plantation tour. I purchased them on Friday, Nov. 12th and it was only the morning of Sat. Nov. 12th that Zerve contacted me to tell me Boone Hall was not available for that afternoon as there was a special event going on - which of course would have already been planned by the time I was allowed to purchased the tickets. I was refunded the money for that part of the tour, but the problem is I had made arrangements for a 10 person van to pick us and the rest of our group (for a total of 10) from the Harborview Inn to have lunch in Mt. Pleasant and to visit Boone Hall Plantation.

the carriage tour was great! The boat tour was a nice cruise around the harbor however the narrator was dull and monotone.

My boyfriend and I took the 1:30 tour on a Friday in November. We got good seats because we got there early, but near the end of the tour when we got up to move around noticed it was pretty packed. ( there was a large tour group onboard). Overall it was a nice tour, I would have liked going out a little bit past Ft Sumter, but we did see a bunch of dolphins so I was appeased. I purchased the combo pack for Harbor Tour tickets and Boone Hall admission. We got to Boone Hall to discover it was reenactment day and our tickets were no good all weekend. I went back to the marina and Harbor Tours gave me a full refund for that portion of my purchase and they were very nice about it. In the future, I hope they learn about conflicts like this in advance and block ticket purchases for those days.

My wife, another couple, and I took this tour on a beautiful day in November. The crew was very friendly and informative. We saw all of the major points of interest in the harbor. At each point, there was a nice amount of detail provided. Not too much, just enough to get the highlights. The price was perfectly fair for a nice, 90 minute tour.

I don't remember our captain' s name, but he was excellent in his presentation and interaction with the group. I felt safe on his boat.

You offered it all and helped me have the best day of my life. It started with your cruise and ended with a proposal on othe waterfront. Thank you so much.

This tour was a good start for an overview of the Charleston Harbor. The ride was somewhat relaxing but there was a lot of narration. Bascially you just ride around the priemeter of the Harbor and then return to the starting point.

Have been wanting to go on the Blues Cruise for a couple years and was finally able to make it. Wife and I had a blast. Music was fantastic. Food was great. Entire crew was incredibly friendly. The entire mix made for a most enjoyable experience. Everyone on boat was having a grand time. Would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Blues Music, BBQ, or just wants a scenic tour of Charleston. We will definitely be going again, and again.

The food was excellent, the music was good.

It was a fun night! lots of people. We went on Oct. 28th 2010. It was a little bit chilly but that always is good because it is a good excuse for snuggling with the girl. I wish I would have been around earlier in the year so I could be on the boat to watch the sun set. Music was great but there wasn't a lot of room on the boat to watch the band or dance. Seems like those that boarded early took the seats by the band and never left. I suggest next time don't put tables up by the band so you can fit more people on the deck. The food was great and the caterer was friendly. I didn't see a dessert. I loved when the boat slowed at the bridges to let the music echo off of them. Great acoustics. I did feel the boat ride was getting a little long when the band stopped playing and took a break. Probably would have been less noticeable if the band continued to play or if there was some other music to take the place of the band. All around I would recommend this to a friend
