I brought the rain to Charleston so got rained out for 2 days,July 26 and 27 and did not have time for the 9:30am tour before leaving on the 28th. Did spend a lot of time around the battery and Yorktown so saw many of the same sites. |

If you're looking for a detailed and historic narrative of Charleston, this is a good place to get it. Plus the view around the harbor is decent. I thought the quality of the sound system aboard the Carolina Belle was very good. Very easy to hear, which is important if you want to pay attention to the historical aspect and not as much on the visual experience. |

If you want to have a fun experience and learn all about Charleston, this is the way to go. Knowledgable guides made every part of the carriage ride and the boat tour a trip to remember. My fiance and I are school administrators and we know of no better way to get a real "Charleston Education"; while at the same time, making memories that will last forever. |

The Blues and BBQ cruise in Charleston harbor was a great way to cap a day. It was cool on the water. The Music by Shrimp City Slim (Gary Irwin) was good blues. The meal was very good Carolina BBQ, We saw many sites and enjoyed meeting various people. Great value. |

Price is right. Just enough time out on the water. I stayed indoors for the a/c and the view was great all around. Staff was professional and pleasant. The boat let out two spills of oil in the water which given the number of tours a day, etc is of course dangerous to our waters and for that reason I, personally will not be going on anymore boat rides. |

We reslly enjoyed the harbor tour. The tour guide gave a lot of information we had not heard before. Everyone was very helpful since I had to use my phone to show where we had bought tickets online as I could not print them out. Appreciated good suggestions on where to take good photos. Would definitely do this again. |

We had a good time but too crowded...for those of us who had seats up top, our views were blocked by those standing along railings. I wish the staff would have encouraged people to find seats. Several of my pictures include a nice shot of someones backside:( (which was my main view when seated) |

The Harbor Tour was very pleasant and our Captain led us through the tour with many historically significant facts of the area. The only downside was the lack of healthy refreshments on board. The Plantation tour was equally good. You should allow about 3 hours to do it justice and make sure not to miss the Gullah Theatre presentation - excellent!! Also try their homemade natural ice cream. We had a float made with lemon ice cream and natural Ginger ale. We will be craving that again! All in all the combo tour was a good value which my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed. |
