Charleston Harbor Tours

This cruise was very good. Saw many sites in a short period of time and got many pictures that turned out very well. Everyone was pleasant and all had a good time.

We had a good time on the harbor tour, was very informative of the history of the harbor. But would recommend the Carriage tour FIRST and foremost it was the best... Had a great guide!! a.k.a. (Rebel) She knew all the history of the Downtown and then some. Really GREAT tour of the area, will take this tour again !!!!

The trip was very informative and really flew by. The narrator was wonderful and the crew very friendly. We were able to see many things that would have taken us all day to drive to (finding our way around, etc). Overall I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone.

We picked up both the carriage and boat tickets at the office upon arrival in Charleston. Everything was easy and clear to understand. The tour guide on the carriage ride was very informative. Enjoyed both the carriage ride and boat ride. I would recommend both to anyone traveling to Charleston and interested in the history of the area. We take carriage rides each time we go to Charleston, but since there are different areas of the city and different guides, they are never the same.

The harbour tour was relaxing and informative. The tour guide provided a little history, geography, and current information about the area. Great for first time visitors. The carriage ride through historic Charleston was really great. We had a knowledgeable and friendly guide . We spent one hour seeing and hearing about the beautiful historic homes, churches, and markets. Suggest going early in the morning - we were two of only four people on the carriage which made it nice.

The tour was fantastic. The captains and guides were very well informed about the Harbor and the sights that we saw. I especially liked the dolphins "body surfing" in front of a huge ship that was passing through. I got some fantastic pics of the Yorktown and Fort Sumpter. I highly recommend this to anyone. Make sure you purchase the combo - carriage ride and harbor tour. We didn't originally, but were given a carriage ride by a Vacation company. Next time, I will purchase both, since we bought the vacation property and definately will be back.

We are glad that we took the combination tour. The boat ride was relaxing & it was a beautiful day. But......................the tour captain really needs to lighten up his talk. He was informative but very dry & I found myself not listening because he didn't make it interesting. I was disappointed that we were pretty far from the shore, so taking photos wasn't always doable. The carriage ride on the other hand was really great. The tour guide kept it light & interesting & answered any questions.

My husband and I enjoyed the cruise with the information provided, however we found the carriage ride more exciting with wonderful charleston history and seeing the beautiful homes and architecture up close with personal stories. The carriage ride is recommended enthusiastically.

The Harbor Tour and carriage ride tour were both very enjoyable. It was fun to see the historic homes in Charleston and learn some of the history of the town. The tours were reasonably priced and we would both recommend either one to anyone who would like to sit back and relax and learn a little about Charleston.

Good views of Fort Sumter and of the surrounding Charleston areas.

Our group of six adults very much enjoyed both the harbor cruise and carriage ride in Charleston. It was relaxing, educational and a real deal for the 29.50 charge per person. It was convenient to make reservations for the harbor cruise, but equally good to be flexible for the carriage ride at our own availability.

Tour guide gave a good talk but it would have been better had he mingled more with the passengers.
