Charleston Harbor Tours

Harbor and carriage tour were well organized, and inexpensive. Tour guides didn't do the "corny" jokes that you find with some tours. They were very knowledgeable, and at no time sounded like a broken record. We didn't have a lot of time in Charleston, so this combo gave us a nice overview.

Our family recently went on the combination carriage ride and harbour tour. We had a very pleasant time on both tours. We parked the car for free at both places of departure. That made the parking very easy. We did the carriage ride in the morning and the harbour tour in the late afternoon. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the markets, shops and eating lunch at one of the local restaurants. The tour guides were both very entertaining and knowledgable of the area. We would recommend this tour to anyone. It was a great way to learn about and see Charleston.

We enjoyed the tour very much. My husband and I are locals who were entertaining friends who have never been to Charleston before. They came away with a informative and beautiful experience.

We learned alot about the history of the Charleston area & saw some beautiful sights; the Boat Captain and mates were very friendly; also the narration by the Captain was excellent & he was very entertaining.

We had a wonderful time on the tour was able to get get some really cool shots of dolphins , and got to see many wonderful sights. The "announcer" was very funny on the boat and it was just very nice.

A beautiful sunny day out on the water to refresh our memories and add some new ones. We some time get busy with out lives and forget to look around and appreciate all the history and sacrifice of prior generations that have made our country such a great place to live. This tour is a small part, but well worth taking.

Crew are laid back, fun, but knowlegable of Charleston and it's history. Great way to learn more about the area

my sister and i decided to take my mom and aunt for a habor for mothers day to do something different and we had a lovely time. the boat was nice and cool and the crew members was very friendly. can't wait to do it again. it was also my first mothers day as a mom so i really enjoyed the tour along with my 8mth old baby. Had fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a hotter day than I expected, but the boat tour that we chose had a lower level that was air conditioned if we chose to use it. We decided the weather was too nice to be indoors, so we remained on the upper level, near the bow of the ship. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and kept us engaged during the entire 90 minutes. This tour is highly recommended for anyone that wants to know more little known facts about the Charleston area.

Had a wonderful time in Charleston with my daughter as we road tripped back from Florida she had finished her 2nd year of college). We very much enjoyed the harbor tour and carriage tour. They both provided us with over views of history and interesting facts. i highly recommend both of these tours...

My fiance and I went to Charleston for the weekend to get a lay of the land. We are considering moving. The Harbor Boat ride was nice, very hot, but nice. We were expecting a little more from the tour though. The guide was informative but we could only hear half of what he was saying. We took in the carriage ride the following day. It was wonderful. Our guide was both funny and informative. He knew a lot about each building and made it very entertaining. We were hoping to go on another ride to a different part of the city as well but were told that they don't know exactly where they'll be going until we're already boarded down the street. Anyway, The overall experience was nice for both tourists and locals. We highly recommend the tours!!!

The views were just beautiful. It was nice that the boat offered both sealed areas where there was air conditioning and outside areas for those more brave. The sound volume was just right and the info given was just enough to intrigue the tourist.

The best tour in Charleston! Had my parents in from Connecticut and they really enjoyed it as well. Will do again!
