The tour guide makes or breaks a tour. We had great guides. Fun, interesting. A lot of history.

This trip was a mother-daughter trip and we had a lot of fun! My mother very much enjoyed the boat ride on the Carolina Belle, I on the other hand got a little seasick. The carriage ride is always a favorite of ours and we highly recommend Palmetto Carriage Works! The only complaint I have is that you are charged $2 per ticket to book online.-That may not seem like a lot but when you are on a tight budget it adds up.

Very informative about the history of Charleston. I would recommend to anyone visiting Charleston!

This was a nice way to ride around the harbor. Crew was nice and friendly.

If you go on the Fort Sumter tour, which is a must when visiting Charleston, this Harbor tour will duplicate a lot of what you already saw with the Fort Sumter tour, but does flesh out other points of interest. You will see Fts. Johnson and Moultrie, as well as Pinckney's "Mansion" which are discussed a lot at Fort Sumter, but not pointed out or brought near enough to see. Some of the sites mentioned in the harbor tour were done in such a vague manner, we weren't sure what was being described. It is a comfortable ride and a nice break from walking. You will want to stay on the right side of the boat. Note: can be breezy on the boat if staying on the top part.

I liked this tour because it was very informative and interesting. A good way to spend 90 minutes of your time. This is a nice tour to take if you want to see things and learn things in a short amount of time. The tour is not so long that you get tired or bored of just looking and, the guides were very informative of the surroundings and the sites you were seeing.

I was a little hesitant when my friend suggested this cruise but it could not have been more fun. The boat was uncrowded, the music was excellent. I'd read reviews about the food being lousy. No, there was no dessert but the barbecue was great, the macaroni out of this world. The crew was friendly and so was the crowd. We went out in light, saw a gorgeous sunset and returned in the dark, all to awesome musical accompaniment. I'd definitely go, again.

Fantasic. loved the music and the food. Would wholeheartedly suggest this to anyone and I will. I have some friends traveling to SC this summer and I will tell them to do this. I wish the band that we heard on May 12th had a CD...I would have bought it. Loved the harmonica guy. It was even better because it wasn't crowded. Weather was perfect. Even saw some dolphins. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!

Seeing dolphins 4 times on the harbor tour was one of the highlights of the tour, especially the dolphin I got to see right next to the boat. The captain was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and the tour was just the right length. The carriage ride was good fun too, with that guide being very knowledgeable about Charleston history and he was tastefully humorous.

The tour was a very relaxing and enjoyable event. The tour guide was very entertaining.

We did the cruise on one day and the plantation tour on another. Both tours are well worthwhile, educational and entertaining. I would highly recommend these to anyone visiting Charleston.

Staff was very helpful and friendly with all aspects of the tours.

The Captain was very well-informed and able to answer many detailed questions, as well as keeping up his standard program. He interacted with the passengers and made the tour fun and entertaining as well as historic and factual. The restrooms were clean, there were choices of places to sit but we could also get up and walk around to take photos. My only complaint was the price of refreshments - I would advise tucking some munchies and a bottle of soda or water in your kit bag and saving $10-$15!! I was traveling with 6 other "senior" ladies - we parked at the visitor center, took the free trolley to the Maritime Center and began our day with this lovely cruise in beautiful sunny weather. Then we trolleyed to King St and lunched and shopped for the rest of the afternoon. Charleston is a beautiful city, we always enjoy our visits!

Enjoyed both tours for historic value!
