Charleston Harbor Tours

We liked the music and food, but we could barely hear the music on the lower deck. In order to hear the music, we had to stand out in the cold because the seats were all taken. The music should be piped into the lower deck.

it seemed a little catered toward older people. Food was good though.

The wonderful weather and the calmness of the water provided a good setting for the cruise. We had a chance to chat with other travelers, while enjoying the delicious BBQ. When the meal was finished we went up on deck to listen to the music and enjoy the view of the city, including the exotic bridge. It could not have been a better casual evening of food and music.

We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Charleston area.

This was a nice ride to learn about some of charlestons history. Captian knows a well amount of history and is humerous. He was quite funny. It was a nice lil date for me and my boyfriend as it was his first time to Charleston.

Ordering tickets online is a breeze. Friendly staff at the marina. I forgot to take my confirmation slip but the girl at the desk called from her cell phone to get the information needed to pick up my tickets. I like the fact that you can pick up you voucher and do the plantation tour whenever you want and you aren't held to a specific time for that. Boone Hall plantation is gorgeous. Ample parking at the marina for the harbor tour. Boat staff friendly and well informed of the area and pointed out may points of interest. Would recommend this activity. Next time in Charleston, I will do this tour again because the weather was crappy.

Cruise: The cruise was very nice and the captain was entertaining. The history lesson was quite informative and we learned a couple of things we didn't know. Plantation: The plantation tour was enlightening also. A side note, because the plantation cut off tours at 5:00 PM, it would have been nice to know what kind of time frame we we working with. We didn't get to do a couple of things (like the carriage tour) that we would have enjoyed. But all of the folks at the plantation were very nice.

We enjoyed the Harbor Tour very much. It was relaxing and very informative.

Efficient, polite & very informative!

My family enjoyed the carriage ride more than the Harbour Tour Boat ride. We felt we were given more information and our guide was GREAT. We did enjoy the Boat ride, but just enjoyed the Carriage ride more. We had small kids with us, so they were more interested in getting snacks. We would reccomend both to get as much information as possible.

My husband & I are from Oregon & we found this trip on the internet. Since we both like BBQ, blues music & riding on tour ships, it was a great little excursion. The food was delicious, & lots of it, the band was great, & the scenery was pretty - especially going under the Ravenal bridge. Everyone on the boat was friendly and in a good mood, especially 2 guys from Alabama. They went to the Irish pub with us afterwards. I would recommend this trip to anyone who likes the blues & BBQ. The water was smooth - so the ride was very smooth. We would say that your trip plus the Tommy Condon's Irish pub were our favorite things to do in Charleston. I think this would have been much better with a different caterer. We had some great bar-b-q in the Charleston area (Sticky Fingers, which I'm sure you know caters as well) while we were there, but the Home Team BBQ was not all that great. The music was great, Shrimp City Slim was great!

We enjoyed the cruise very much. Looking forward to our next trip with Harbor Tours.

Wonderful weather, boat was smooth, fantastic BBQ, and outstanding music. Boat was a little old, but that is the only negative I can think of.

I purchased the combination Harbor/Plantation Tour. It was very easy to get to the Harbor if you are staying downtown. I was unable to attend the Plantation tour as I did not have a car and the cost to get there was $30-$40 each way (very disappointing).
