Buying a package deal is the best way of getting your moneys worth. We would do it again if we get the chance.

Each one was a general overview, which what was expected.

Nice boat ride (the captain was very knowledgeable about the area) and the carriage ride was also nice as well. Be aware that the carriage ride may already be booked full when you show up, so don't go late in the afternoon, or call ahead to put your name on the list.

Charleston Harbor Tours provides what the name suggests-a tour of the Charleston harbor. Good views of Fort Sumter and the neighboring islands are available both on deck or in the heated lower level. Food and drink is also sold on the ship. The captain/tour guide gives a narrative on the history of the sights the ship passes near. It is worth your time and money to get this perspective on the city.

This was the best tour I have ever done. I will highly recommend to others.

tour is nonspecific. It is chosen by lottery what streets the carage can go on. So if you are looking to see something specific I guess you have to go on a private tour. It was not noted that the tours do not have to be done on the same day. We didn't go for the boat ride because it was to windy. But they did say the ticket last up to a year and that we can go another time.

Very informative history,very enjoyable ride on the boat.

We purchased tickets specifically to view the gorgeous mansions near Battery Park as was advertised. Unfortunately, we didn't even come close to seeing the mansions. The tour guide explained that he had to check in with the city before the tour and had to take us on whatever route they chose. Our tour was of the back streets of Charleston. It lasted about an hour and we saw a cathedral from different angles as well as many smaller old homes and a graveyard.But that was it. Nothing spectacular nor particularly interesting. The buggy ride was pleasant though.

We were greeted as we entered. The actors were fun and actively engaged. Beer was not as cold as it should have been and rum was a very low grade. Price was right and we had a very good time. Once you purchase the tickets and parking, we should not have to have another ticket in order to leave...

we took the carriage ride first - got to know the town a bit - did the "market" and lunch and then drove around ourselves and took pictures then went to the harbor for the boat tour - learned the history and enjoyed the trip so enjoyed both tours would highly recommend to others - as a matter of fact - got back to work on monday and couldn't say enough about charleston and the activities available will consider doing this again and possibly stay in charleston instead of just doing the day. GREAT

This cruise was one of the major highlights during our stay in Charleston. To my surprise, the band really played real blues music music. The length of the cruise was just perfect and the time of the evening was also great. I arrived a day early in order to make the cruise and was not disappointed at all. The boat ride was great, saw the dolpins, lots of wild life. The Captin was very informitive Carraige ride was wonderful, its a great way to learn the history of the the city.

I'm a friendly sort. I grew up on the Canada's East Coast so saying hello and greeting most folks with a smile is common practise for my kind. While I was absolutely charmed by the city, awed by it's tremendous history and absolutely blown away with the knowledge and enthusiasm in which these tour guides introduce you to their city, I was less than impressed with the tour operator's front office staff. No words of welcome, no thanks for choosing us and absolutely positively no offer of "have a great day". What saves this team are the tour guides themselves both on the water and in the carriage. They have tremendous personality and a knowledge of the history and the area that is second to none. If you're looking to see and learn about the Charleston area then go with Charleston Harbour Tours - the guides will not disappoint you but stay out the main office if you can!

The crew was friendly, band was lively, the food was very good and the atmosphere beautiful! I recently moved to the Charleston area and what I saw was a good reason why I did.

My husband and I did the Boone Hall Plantation first which we wanted to go for a long time. It was beautiful. A lot of history and beautiful things to look at. Loved the tree's and the plantation home. Went on down to take the Harbor tour and wasn't disappointed in the least. Everyone there was very nice and the boat ride was awesome. Loved all the scenery. Couldn't have ask for anything more. Thank you.
