Seller Description:
Haunts of Richmond has been offering walking ghost tours since May of 2005. Long time residents of Richmond, Virginia, Scott and Sandi Bergman performed extensive research on the history of downtown Richmond and its many legends and ghost stories in developing their "Haunts of Richmond" walk-through haunted attraction. It was this research and the requests of many of the haunted house guests that enabled the Bergmans to begin offering Richmond's only ongoing nighttime ghost tour.

In addition to post-bachelor's study of history at Virginia Commonwealth University, Sandi has served as a docent at Maymont House in Richmond for several years as well as developing the Shadows of Shockoe tour and serving as the Ghost Host at Haunts.

Activity Description
Discover for yourself why Capitol Hill is a hotbed of paranormal activity!

Ascend Richmond's magnificent Capitol Hill with your Ghost Host and you'll find out that it's not just elected officials and security guards who patrol the hallowed halls of Virginia's legislative and executive seat of power, but something beyond this world - something experienced by an amazing number and variety of people over the years.

Gaze upon the historic buildings populated by government movers and shakers by day, but ruled by the denizens of the spirit world at night. Hear tales of tragedy and romance, heroic deeds and unspeakable horrors. Get to know the specters doomed to roam the chambers and grounds of Virginia's Capitol complex and nearby environs for eternity.

Packed with haunted history, this tour includes several of Richmond's best known ghost stories, including:

  • The visitor at the Governor's Mansion
  • The Great Theatre Fire
  • Spirits in Capitol Square
  • And many more...
You may even see or sense the presence of a spirit yourself as you make your way past the sites said to harbor the energy of those who experienced such traumatic loss of life there many years ago.

This tour is appropriate for all ages. It lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, and involves a mildly strenuous walk on paved city streets.

So what are you waiting for? Our Ghost Host is waiting for YOU!
