| My children and I (16 yrs., 21 yrs.) had a wonderful time listening to the very scary ghost stories, and touring the city. The highlight was undoubtedly the 1925 train explosion in the tunnel. We went to the tunnel the very next day to investigate. Our tour guide was very peppy and entertaining! I would recommend this activity to anyone looking to do something a little different on their trip to Richmond. |

| We live in Richmond and took our out of town married children on the tour. Everyone enjoyed it very much. My husband saw something in one of the windows and we all were fascinated and learned a lot. The guide was excellent. The stories were familiar to us having studied Richmond history and taken many tours but the guide presented the info in a new and exciting way. We were very pleased that this was a serious lecture and had nothing todo with Halloween or spook house type of stories. I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in the paranormal and think it could help start an interest in those with an open mind.
Our group consisted of 2 60 year old adluts with our 29 year old daughter and her husband. I'm sure we will do it again with friends we have been telling about our experience. |

| The tour and the advertisement for the tour was very misleading, non-interactive and boring. Will not reccommend to any other individuals or groups. |

| We certainly enjoyed aspect of this tour. Our guide was gracious and told us that if our little girl couldn't finish the tour and got cranky we could come back the next night with the same tickets. That was very nice.
We especially liked the stop at the old train tunnel and the story connected with that. It seemed like the most "haunted" spot and no one would find it, much less know the story behind it, without something like this tour to direct them.
Our one disappointment was that our guide was not the best storyteller. The historical aspect of the tour was well done, but when it got to the actual story behind the building/location, it seemed a little disjoint and anti-climatic at times.
All in all, we got to see parts of Richmond that we would otherwise have not seen, learned more about the history, but thought that the suspense and excitement of the stories during the tour could have been presented better. |

| The tour was well worth the time and money, even with the weather being absolutely awful (it was almost 100 degrees the night we went). I actually found that I liked the historical parts of the stories more than anything. The ghost related content was very solid but the tour guide also had a nice historical background and I learned a lot more from this than just the ghost parts. Highly recommend and kudos to the tour guide. |

| The Haunts of Richmond Tour was really fun. Afterwards, we took the Widow's House Tour. That was fun also. Only one little problem. It was hard to navigate the rooms. You didn't know how far to go until it was too late. |

| Not scary at all. Pretty lame. The chick that gave us the tour was knowledgable, but gave little else to the experience. We left glad we did nt have to hear her speak anymore. It sounded like the stories were mostly bogus. It was not worth 15 bucks to walk through the rough part of the city and hear about how maybe there was a ghost in here once. Would not recommend this to anyone I know. |

| In the Spirit of Halloween we decided to take the tour. The stories were interesting and the history of the Church Hill / Shockoe Bottom was an added attraction. The tour guide was pleasant and the length/distance of the tour was sufficient to keep it interesting. |

| The tour people are all very nice and efficient. The weather was nice so it was a nice walk around a few blocks in old Richmond. The storytelling was enthusiastic and at a good volume but I did not find them very interesting. The best stop was the collapsed train tunnel. It was back off of the street and a little scary. Otherwise standing outside a McDonalds and telling a vague story of a confederate soldier was the norm. If the staff had given restaurant reviews as we passed by the various businesses I would have given this tour a gold star. |
