An evening out for boat ride and dinner

A long way from home. The boat had engine troubles, no doubt a disease of boats nationally has spread from cruise lines to river boats. Food was fine. Guests were given a free cruise and food with limitations. My limitation is I live in NYS and may not be able to comply with terms. In reality, I am old enough and ugly enough to weather a bit of setbacks. The owner very pleasant. Mechanical things happen. I think the offer reasonable from the business standpoint. It cost a lot of money to keep a boat afloat. A bit of bad luck. The several crew aboard were friendly - even memorable in their good nature. I think I will chaulk up the mishap as just that and remember it for what it was - a nice evening out close to shore among a loverly bunch of people, both crew and guests. |

Ship was broke down. Owner never contacted anyone to let know spent time for dinner but had to wiat a very long time to get my credit for other cruise |

My family & I all enjoyed the cruise itself. The boat was clean & well tended. The food, by The Black Tulip, was wonderful, of course. We liked the live musician at the start of the trip, even though it was a bit loud. But someone decided to change to piped dance music for the majority of the ride; it was loud and totally changed the relaxed atmosphere we had been enjoying up to that point. There was some unexpected bio-luminescence in the water which made the fish, dolphins and boat wake quite lovely in their glows. All in all, I would recommend this for a relaxed, peaceful dinner outing. |

We took my (almost) 87 year old mother on the Mother's Day Dinner Cruise. Unfortunately, my mother complains about most things, but she really enjoyed herself and she had only GOOD things to say about the food and crew. it was a very pleasant evening and one we plan to repeat. |
