| If you're visiting San Francisco, you'll get far more out of this guided tour than an impersonal visit to the usual city tourist destinations.
Well thought out, informative, and well-conducted. Budget about 2-1/2 hours and be prepared to walk (though it isn't at all exhausting). |

| Our Javawalk guide, Nicole, was brilliant: coffeehouses served as mileposts along a morning tour of San Francisco that somehow managed to cover most of what you'd really want to know about the city on first flush along with scintillating historical and cultural details that transcended the usual hoary namedropping and tall tales. She made us feel like new friends from the start, and old friends at the conclusion. Highly recommended for folks like us who want to be taught in full color without any frippery or tiresome monument-gazing. All hail Nicole! :-) |

| Parents and adult son and daughter in law who all have worked in sf and now live in Santa cruz. Learned history and saw sf in a new light. Loved the stop and the treat at the end... |

| Javawalk is a wonderful local tour that gives you an insiders view of San Francisco. Collett is extremely personable, and has an overwhelming amount of knowledge. She can talk about just about anything. Her small personal tour is definately the way to go! |

| It was a wonderful experience! The tour was informative to a point that I wanted to read about North Beach and its legacy afterwards. The two cafes "Treiste" and "Greco" served excellent coffee. The ambience of both cafes were that of the 50's era. Collette's narration of the tour was eloquent and professional. Her knowledge of the area surprised me. I want to thank Javawalk for extending their courtesy even though I was the only participant for that day. Now that is service! |

| Was a great and informative walk....Not just learning about and visiting coffeeshops...but informative and interesting about SF in general...history, stories, current events etc....Collete was fantastic...I will certainly recommend to others....and though there was alot of walking....SF is just a plain "fun to walk in" City!!
After the tour, (that evening and next night) I revisited several of the coffeeshops and places we had been...and attended the Beach Blanket Babylon performance that Collete had mentioned as well....
Thanks...so very much for the GREAT tour...

| Extremely knowlegeable and enthusiastic, Collette guided us through Chinatown, Little Italy, North Beach....all the while providing us with tidbits of San Francisco history. We have lived in the area for over 30 years and still learned a thing or two. Walking through very interesting parts of the City on a beautiful day, made for a memorable and enjoyable experience. |

| It's always better to explore somewhere on foot -- the Java Walk provides the enhancement of having a knowledgeable person lead you on the tour and share interesting history about the areas you're visiting. The pace and length of the tour were just right, and it inspired me to return to spend time in some of the stores and restaurants. I'd like to learn about similar tours in different parts of the city, too. |
