| The tour was very interesting. We were only a small group. The two guides spent a lot of time with us (more then four hours); they tried to answer all questions. If you want to see something very different we can recommend it. Off course you have to be interested - otherwise it gets boring. The Hassidic Jews in Crown Heights are obviously not as orthodox as the Hassidic Jews in Williamsburg. We never really understood the differences. We would have liked to hear more about that. | ||||||

| The tour shows the way of life of this community in a very practical way; besides, you get to know some of the most important places for the whole Hasidic Judaism, as for example the Chabad Library and 770. The tour guides were excellent, and one of them, Rabbi Kaplan, didn't hesitate to stay some hours more in order to answer all our questions. If you want to learn more about Jewish tradition, this is definitely an opportunity that you cannot let pass. | ||||||

| We could have gone on for hours discussing all the many aspect of Chassidism. The Rabbi was open, informative, congenial. A wonderful experience I think everyone should participate in to better understand the lifestyle of the Chassidic Jews. Their devotion to G-d is truly inspiring. Thank you for the experience. | This tour provided an exciting and educational view of a culture which had previously not welcomed outsiders or probing questions. I now understand the culture, its participants and the lure of the community.There are still some hard questions which remain unanswered. | ||||||

| I very much enjoyed the tour. It was interesting going to the synagogue and seeing the praying and the rocking and so forth. Also, having all the different concepts explained, etc. They are very open to questions, which is wonderful. | ||||||

| Seeing the pamphlet at the Hotel Le Jolie on 235 Meeker Avenue was the answer to a prayer - I had been planning to make my own tour of the Brooklyn Chasidic areas myself. Though I arrived for the tour open to outcomes, I was very, very pleased with Rabbi Epstein, his knowledge, his warmth, and the open welcoming of the whole Lubivicher community to the tour group that day. The lunch was really, really good, and I was made to feel very deeply connected to the community from all the personal touches that were accorded us. Being a part of 770 Synogogue was the high point along with the openness of the Rabbi. When I mentioned that I had misplaced my copy of the Rebbe Schneerson testimonial book composed by Mr Jacobson, the rabbi made sure that I was able to buy another one because I complained that the book was very hard to find on Amazon. From the book I found just the words that I wanted for my daughter's wedding toast next Sunday. I cannot recommend the tour enough (I have been recommending it to many already). It was the best 40 dollars that I have ever spent. I wish now that I had taken more photos! | ||||||

| My wife and I are Christians; we were welcomed and respected on the tour. We learned a great deal from the friendly and informative tour guides, and the up-close contact with this community has really deepened our awareness of their strengths and their needs. I was very glad to have the opportunity, and we'll be back urgently to share the experience with our grown-up kids. The walking tour does cover a good deal of ground, perhaps a mile including indoors and out; some stair climbing is necessary. I recommend dressing for the weather, and comfortable walking shoes. | ||||||

| My daughter - aged 18 - and myself chose to do the tour during our one week visit to New York. The tour was outstanding - we came away feeling as though we had a wonderful insight into the Chassidic way of life. The variety of places we visited were fascinating and the truly charming tour guides made us feel extremely welcome into their lives. I would highly recommend this tour and although we visited most of the popular tourist sites in New York this was definitely a highlight. | ||||||

| this was a great tour; my only reservation was that we spent the first hour of the 3 hours in basement room; although the Rabbi was very enlightening re Chassidic philosophy, I personally wanted to 'get out there' sooner! | ||||||

| An insiders look at a sect of the Jewish world proved to be a terrific experience for our family. The Rabbi was great as the guide and gave many unusual details of the Chassidic life. One of the best walking tours we've done. | ||||||

| This is a great insider tour of Jewish Crown Heights. You are able to visit all types of places that you would not be able to see on your own. The guide is great and the tour a great value. | ||||||
