| We got so much more than we expected. I thought the tour might be "interesting" but it was much more than that. It was a real eye-opener for us on the religion | ||||||

| We spent the day with Y'Israel and moved ourselves from being in New York to the Lubuvich life. It was absolutely fabulous and a tour that I would highly recommend for all walks of life. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable, excited about what he was teaching, patient and understanding of our questions and gave us a memory of a lifetime! The time he spent with us you could see his commitment and pride of showing us a glimps of Jewish life. We all walked away at the end of the day different, better and more tolerant. Thank you so much for a FABULOUS experience. | ||||||

| The tour was very very informative. The tour guide was always very enthusiastic and eager to make sure that we had the very best explanation and appreciation for his culture and religion. I came away knowing and wanting to know more. What I would suggest would be that the tour guide not talk as much without at the same time taking and showing the group the many aspects of the culture and religion. The talking about the culture took too much time and so the tour was tooooo long and we were very very hungry . So hungry that I could not concentrate as well as I would have wanted to. Lunch should be at a specific time--maybe 12:30 or so before continuing the tour. Split it up- some in the morning and some in the afternoon. With that said, I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. Great Job!! | ||||||

| This is a rare opportunity to get an inside look in the Chassidic world. You get to see a number of very important places in the Jewish religion. The guides are very friendly and willing to answer all your questions. The tour has enhanced my understanding of the Chassidic ideas and beliefs. | ||||||

| Even though it was an extremely hot day, I really enjoyed the tour and hardly noticed the heat. There were many different and interesting stops on the tour. The guide was very friendly and informative and was more than willing to answer all of my questions. It was a great way to learn more about the Chassidic life. | ||||||

| A friend and I were the only 2 people on the tour on a very hot Sunday but we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We had ample time to look around, the Rabbi answered all of our questions honestly and enthusiastically (and there were lots of questions!). All in all, a very worthwhile day to see a side of Brooklyn and a side of Judaism seldom seen. | ||||||

Educational, honest, provided understanding

| Our group was very interested in learning about the Chassidic way of life. We were all very impressed with both of the rabbis. The knowledge, honesty, explanations, and interpretations brought us new understanding about the intensity of this religious group. I walked away with a totally changed outlook about the Orthodox and Chassidic differences. So many customs, marriage requirements as well as background were discussed. The experience of being in 770 was overwhelming. We were in awe of the restoration of the Torahs, and the incredible artistic talents of a religious artist. We enjoyed the humor and unending patience of both rabbis. We fed our brains and ended the tour feeding our stomachs with a tasty lunch. We all would recommend this tour highly to anyone of any faith or background...expand your horizons! Most sincerely, Karen & Wolfgang Hiller Brenda & Phil DeCicco Long Island, NY | ||||||

| The best part of our NY trip. We missed the tour on Wednesday and decided to stay in NY for an extra day just so that we could do the tour. The extra day in NY was worth every single penny. Rabbi Kaplan was amazing-he answered all 1000 questions that I asked! Got home and told the boss about the tour-He is planning a trip to NY next month just to go on the tour. | ||||||

Recommended introduction to a different lifestyle

| The tour gave us a very interesting introduction to a lifestyle that is quite different from ours. Despite those differences the Chassidic Jews can learn us busy people a lot. They do not try to convert us (in fact they discourage people of non Jewish faith to convert as they do not belive that being Jewish is the only way to salvation) but their dedication leaves a strong impression. Visiting the Chassidic Jews was definately the highlight of our trip to New York. We hope to be able to repeat this experience some time in the future and can highly recommend this tour to everybody. | ||||||

| I highly recommend the Chassidic Daily Walking Tour to adults, children, teenagers...basically of all ages. I brought a group of teenagers and felt that the tour guides really spoke on their level and explained things to them in a clear way. The girls loves the tour and would love to come back to discover more things about Crown Heights. The tour whets your appetite to want to learn more and keeps you thinking. It's insightful as well as fun and entertaining. The tour ended with a delicious meal at a restaurant which really ended our day in a classy and tasty way. If you are looking for an informative and interesting and insightful way to be enlightened or enlighten others regarding Crown Heights, I would highly suggest you take this Chassidic Tour. | ||||||

| My background is Reform, so I wasn't exactly sure as to what to expect with the Hassidic movement. I was surprised cameras were allowed; but, also happy, as I used to be a photographer. To have an Israeli assist me in putting on tefillin and praying the Shema was an experience I won't soon forget. Although, I had done this one other time in Israel at the Western Wall, the process was somewhat rushed. Omer (as I recall was the young man's name in Brooklyn), was extremely patient with me and helped me along the way.. I was also very interested and amazed in the restoration of Torah's. This is a very tedious, time consuming, and exact art. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more of the Hassidic movement. You will be glad you did. Rabbis Epstein and Kaplan were very gracious to invite us in their daily lives. | ||||||

| This was a terrific experience. The Rabbi/ Tour Guide was comfortable, informal, very informative, and extremely easy to be/ talk with. The tour was immeasurably interesting, both for me, a Jew, and for my non-Jewish husband. Rather than feeling like unwelcome outsiders, we felt like honored and respected guests. We also were taken with how friendly the people on the streets were to us, when we had questions or needed directions after the tour. It truly was one of the best experiences we have had in our numerous visits to New York, and we already have recommended it to several friends. We would like to take the tour again with friends. There was so much to see and learn, and we felt as if we had experienced only the tip of the iceberg. Highly recommended, and a great value. | ||||||

| I found the tour helpful in answering questions that I had about the Chassidic community and its beliefs and practices. Rabbi Epstein was very good at explanation and in leadership of the tour. He had a good sense of our needs quickly, made the tour enjoyable by adding a sense of humor when appropriate. It would have been valuable to talk more with others in the community. I would do this tour again. | ||||||

| The tour gave us much insight into the community. We were given an explanation on what makes this community unique, were able to watch morning prayers, a walk through the Chabad museum and headquarters, a trip to the Mikvah and a delicious lunch. Questions were patiently answered. | ||||||
