| The tour guides were friendly and provided a very informative tour. They really provided a good insight into how the Chassidic community live in New York. I have been to New York many times and have never had an opportunity to experience how "real people" live. It was terrific getting out of Manhattan and hearing and seeing how people live. A great tour which I would highly recommend to people of all ages and all religions. | ||||||

| It was a really interesting inside look i got to the Community of the lubavish jews and i do understand the whole religion and their appearance in public better now. The two Rabbis answered all questions i had and tried to make it an interesting walk overall. I went to places i would never have seen. The three hours went by really fast, i was amazed. I really recommend the walk to understand better the religious culture, thoughts and habbits of the hasidic lubavish jews. | ||||||

| This tour was very well organized and extremely informative. The leaders answered every one of our questions honestly and with humor. Even though the tour was slated for 3 hours, we spent 5 -- two well-appreciated extra hours. We saw a vibrant community and left feeling welcome to return. Lunch was delicious! | ||||||

| We have to say that we were most enthusiastically and warmly welcomed by our two tour guides. They were funny, friendly and really managed to convey a great deal of very interesting information about orthodox Judaism and the Chassidic perspective and practices. It was like having a really AUTHENTIC tour guide who guides you most comfortably through the philosophy and tenants of Jewish life in this very thriving community in Brooklyn. We felt completely comfortable and very much accepted by both the tour guides and by those with whom we came into contact. This was also the experience of another participant, Connie (and her primarily Chinese-speaking aunt from Hong Kong) - who participated with great interest despite having very little knowledge in advance of the tour. LUNCH was quite delicious. I had the authentic pastrami on rye bread, while others had very favourable comments about the grain-fed, free-range chicken schawarma. We really felt, my wife and I, that not only did we have an enjoyable time, but we had FUN, and learned many things at the same time. The agenda was pretty interesting - the synogogue, the museum - and the place where mezuzahs - affixed to door posts - and torah scrolls are written or repaired was particularly fascinating. It sounds weird, but we really miss the tour guides - and I hope to keep in touch with the (true) gentleman who escorted us in the afternoon. I would certainly recommend the experience! | ||||||

| I was privileged being the sole participant (Monday June 23, 2008). Mr. Yisroel Ber Kaplan guided me in a very pleasant way: quietly, very informative and encouraging me to ask questions. I appreciated very much, that I was allowed to make pictures. The kindness and joy of the people in the Synagogue and Study Hall and of the Scribes writing a Torah scroll struck me. The tour exceeded my expectations! Fok de Boer, the Netherlands | ||||||

| Very good: the vist to the synogoge. The first time I experienced how a synagoge is used Good: The information concerned the way chassidic jews live in Crown heights. Could be better: The guide talked sometimes too much. There were moore information than the group was able to take. In spite that the tour took 6 hours (very gentle of the guide to give us so much of his time) I hade many questions that there were no time for. | ||||||

| The guide shared his personell life-style in the Jewish Community very open and authentic. Very interesting to have a look behind the scene and get a better understanding of this culture. However I wasn't prepared for a 6 hours tour, since only 3 hours was announced. | ||||||

| We got so much more than we expected. I thought the tour might be "interesting" but it was much more than that. It was a real eye-opener for us on the religion | ||||||

| We spent the day with Y'Israel and moved ourselves from being in New York to the Lubuvich life. It was absolutely fabulous and a tour that I would highly recommend for all walks of life. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable, excited about what he was teaching, patient and understanding of our questions and gave us a memory of a lifetime! The time he spent with us you could see his commitment and pride of showing us a glimps of Jewish life. We all walked away at the end of the day different, better and more tolerant. Thank you so much for a FABULOUS experience. | ||||||

| The tour was very very informative. The tour guide was always very enthusiastic and eager to make sure that we had the very best explanation and appreciation for his culture and religion. I came away knowing and wanting to know more. What I would suggest would be that the tour guide not talk as much without at the same time taking and showing the group the many aspects of the culture and religion. The talking about the culture took too much time and so the tour was tooooo long and we were very very hungry . So hungry that I could not concentrate as well as I would have wanted to. Lunch should be at a specific time--maybe 12:30 or so before continuing the tour. Split it up- some in the morning and some in the afternoon. With that said, I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. Great Job!! | ||||||

| This is a rare opportunity to get an inside look in the Chassidic world. You get to see a number of very important places in the Jewish religion. The guides are very friendly and willing to answer all your questions. The tour has enhanced my understanding of the Chassidic ideas and beliefs. | ||||||
