| I enjoyed learning about the Hassidic people of Brooklyn and how they live. It's like visiting a living museum. The tour guides give you great insight into the community. The kosher lunch, which was included in the price, was also really great. I highly recommend it. | ||||||

| Where else can you go no questions asked and be escorted around an area often seen as closed off to outsiders and be made to feel welcome? My husband and I happened upon your brochure and called last minute and booked the tour for the following morning. We showed up not sure what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. The tour guide, Rabbi Kaplan, was engaging and knowledgable. Both myself, who has had years of various levels of Jewish exposure and my husbnd, who is not Jewish and has had zero exposure learned a lot and would not hesitate to go again. We saw the famous "770", learned about the history of Lubavich, saw a mikveh and learned briefly about its role in religous jewish life, a matzah factory, area stores, ate a kosher lunch and saw scribes at work repairing Torah scrolls and other ritual items. All in about 3 hours. Like I said, where else could you find this? If I find myself in the area again with other friends, I intend on booking another tour, and I know I will learn even more again. | ||||||

| The tour teaches one a great deal about Chassidic life in Brooklyn. We enjoyed visit to the various industries, the synagogue and we got a delicious lunch. There is also food on offer for vegetarians. And after the tour we received our photos via e-mail. Mary and Urs | ||||||

| This was an interesting and informative tour that shows the culture and religion of Orthodox Jewish community. It is a quaint town and everyone is very friendly. It was worth the money and the Kosher lunch at the end of the tour was delicious. I recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in learning about this culture or if you are just looking for a good tour. | ||||||

| Senior Mom and two adult children took this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with Rabbi Epstein who shared so much of his wisdom and experience with us to enrich our Jewish education and spiritual path. We felt more connected to our Jewish souls after this wonderful, one of a kind experience. Many thanks to the Rabbi. | ||||||

| I thought the tour was a fascintaing insight into the lifestyle of the Chassidic Jewish people. The tour guides were warm and friendly and happy to answer all questions and provide indepth explanations into the meaning behind some of their everyday practices. There is a serenity amongst the people and a contentment in crown heights that I have yet to experience in any other place or city that I have travelled. It was truly wonderful to see that the Jewish community is thriving. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend this tour. From the moment I got off the subway, I felt I was in a different world. It was very interesting being part of a somewhat "closed society". All questions were answered honestly . The matzo factory was most interesting. Our tour guide was kind, informative, and helpful. I gained a whole new respect for a group of people who are extremely devoted to their beliefs. Our tour guide took all the time needed at all our stops so I could really take in all the sights and information. It was great that we could also take pictures of everything. | ||||||

| My husband and I were very impressed with the Rabbi who gave us such interesting information about the Chassidic community in Brooklyn, one that is known world-wide. He was eager to answer our questions, taking as much time as needed. The synagogue, museum, silver shop, artist galleries and finally the local cafe rounded out the tour as well as the opportunity to see scrolls being restored and phylactories completed. It was a feast day so not all of the shops were open, but we did not feel like that took away from the overall tour. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone as an opportunity to see and learn about a unique group of people with very ancient roots. | ||||||
