Schooner Jolly II Rover

All 4 of us greatly enjoyed the sunset cruise. There were 2 in their 40s and 2 in their 70s so it is fun for all ages. The crew were very friendly and adept at setting the sails. It was fascinating to watch. 2 of us are from Pittsburgh Pa and 2 from Cape Coral, Fl. The actual trip (sailing) was delightful, and the sunset cooperated by being beautiful. We enjoyed the interaction with other boats.

We had a wonderful time! You are allowed to bring your own alcohol and snacks. The boat owner was aboard, very friendly and greeted all who were aboard. The crew were extremely skilled and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Loved the schooner! Crew let me help raise the sails. Very knowledgeable captain and crew. Great sunset views. Loved the cannon shot across the bow. We recommended to several couples we met in Key West on street and restaurants.

This, our third trip on the Jolly Rover, was as memorable as first. The crew was fabulous, both professional and fun. They initiated conversation with all the passengers, took photos for us, encouraged passengers to assist with the sails. They provided coolers for our beverages and even put our food on ice several hours before we sailed. Unique with its red sails and the only sailing ship able to "attack" other sailing ships with their mini-cannons. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and the best way to see a Key West sunset.

We were a group of 12 and we had so much fun it was one of our highlights of the trip. We saw dolphins, they came right up to the boat. I can't say enough good things about the crew. I wouldn't change anything about the cruise.

Great sunset sail! We loved that you could bring your own snacks and drinks onboard. The crew was good and Capitan Rio was entertaining. The only downfall we had was in the boarding process. At first we were told to get there 6:00pm. We arrived at 5:45 to check in. Then the gal at the check in desk said we had plenty of time to get a drink at the bar and to show back up at 6:15. At 6:00pm, while sitting at the bar we noticed people boarding the Jolly Rover. We did not finish our $12.00 drinks, we quickly went to the boat. By the time we got on most seats were taken. Our party of 6 could not sit together and 2 of us had to sit on the cooler full of water(where we had to get up numerous times to give passengers water). So for being the first to arrive, we actually were almost the last to board.

My girlfriend and I went on the Sunset Cruise and thought it was great. The sunset was spectacular and the crew really made the 2hr sail a lot of fun. The captain even let everyone steer the schooner. I definitely recommend this company and would gladly go out with them again. P.S. It's also BYOB and they provide cups/ice.

Rio and his crew do a nice job! The price is right and the sunset you'll see is the same as the higher priced boats. A great activity.

Excellent experience. Capt Ron is welcoming, relaxed and fun as are all the crew members. We had a wonderful sail and saw a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend this quiet, scenic sail/cruise over the other loud, rowdy boats!

We had the great pleasure of spending 2 hours on the Jolly 11 Roger with Captain Ron and his crew outof Key West. Even though there was no wind it was a beautiful cruise and the Key West sunset did not disappoint us. The real beauty was seeing the full moon on the same night.

Cpt. Ron and his crew were outstanding. We totally enjoyed the sunset cruise. We were traveling with our 13 year old son and this trip was 100% family orientated. The crew were knowledgeable and friendly and you could just tell that they loved what they were doing. Great job all.

This was the first time I had ever been on a sail boat, and was looking forward to the seeing the sunset. This trip did not disappoint. The weather was perfect and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Would go on this sailboat again. The only negative was that I wasn't a huge fan of the "canon firing", but still fun.

Fun crew who enjoy their jobs. Treated us well and provided a lot of information about sailing and local historical information. Capt. Rio is very personable, friendly and entertaining.

My husband and I scheduled during our Key West vacation....what a great choice! The sunset cruise was wonderful!
