| Lyn (from Georgia) and Terrica (from Alabama) had a great time. Not only did we learn so much from Steve about New York but we met some great travelers that we ran into all over New York after our tour. We laughed and laughed. Thanks for loving New York and making us love it too.
Our only question is ... Were the three gentlemen from Canada really priest that were on our bus???? |

| I am very sorry when I have to criticize or complain about anything, especially something I look forward to enthusiastically and for which I pay an estimable sum of money .
I was impressed by the website and testimonials on "Manhatten Tours" and chose this company for my tour of NYC, where I had not been for several years. I hoped to see most of the main districts (as advertised) and learn some history about, say, Chinatown and the Fashion Industry, as well as get out and walk around a bit in SOHO or Greeewich Village. Our group was an ideal size for a stroll (which we did do in Central Park) but we spent the majority of time sitting in a minibus and listening to a lot of ... voice.
We got to look up at the Empire State building from several blocks away.; we got to look up interminably at the ceiling of Grand Central Terminal; we also stood out on sidewalks (and looked up) (and it was cold) and a lot of time was given to jerking through the downtown traffic of Lower Manhatten. We got to hear all about how Harlem has changed. Some of the information bordered on interesting. But a few days later I can't tell you one thing of substance that I learned.
Steve is a great organizer and a terrific speaker -- I sure don't want him to take anything personally; but this tour lacked content, and would best be categorized as, say, : "Your Very First Introduction to How To Get Around In New York". But then there would need to be added info on using subways and so on.
I felt so bad about asking my friend who I booked the tour with for the $85.00 ticket price, I told her to forget it. She was cold in the bus and fell asleep for part of the tour, so I didn't want to add insult to injury. We were both very positive and open and willing to absorb whatever interesting information was going to be offered about this amazing city of New York, but a couple of days later , as I mentioned, I can't remember anything of substance. I feel bad about that. I feel kind of ripped off.
Unfortunately our Broadway show got cancelled due to the strike...so our weekend in NYC had its elements of disappointment. Still, it's New York City! The Met and Times Square were excellent and I enjoyed a walk through Central Park on Sunday.
Have a great day
Sincerely,
Laara |

| The guide on this tour was friendly enough, but it was a bit of a whizz past with most places after theatre district.
Not enough time for dinner, after queing. |

| Tour could be rated as 7 in a scale 1 to 10. The guide was good, but the group didn´t connect, so it was not that fun. |

| After reading about Manhattan Tours on Tripadvisor and looking at their website I decided to take the morning tour of Midtown / Downtown. My wife and I opted to be picked up at the Waldorf Astoria (as we were staying close by) after initially not knowing which entrance to be picked up at, but thanks to the receptionist at Waldorf who phoned the tour operator for me, we were picked up by Steve at the main entrance.
My wife, myself and 3 others were the only people on the tour so we were in a minivan which added to the experience and Steve was very friendly and chatty for 8.30 in the morning. He took us via main avenues and side streets to areas not normally visited but also took in the main attractions with lots of facts and local knowledge about New York’s different areas and history. He answered (nearly) any question we asked even if it had nothing to do with the area. Overall a great way to see New York and helped us decide what attractions to visit by ourselves and where to eat and shop. This tour was great for us but may not suit everyone who might want to spend a little longer at each attraction. One last thing as for the lunch stop – never tried Pastrami and Rye but all I can say is Yes, Yes, Ohh ,Yes!! Take the tour and find out.

| Great overview of the neighborhoods of Manhattan. Learned a lot and had a good time doing so. Steve was good at sharing his knowledge and love of the city. The bus with the long windows and the small group made it easy to see and not get lost in the crowd. |

| Most in depth review of such a diverse place as NYC. I would thusiastically recommend this trip to anyone that is traveling to NYC. He prepared us for a very exciting place by giving us the lingo and orienting us so we knew where to go and how to get there. Very, very enjoyable; we could have come back for day two of the tour. |

| The only regret is that we did not take the tour the first day we arrieved in New York. It was so much more than just pointing out buildings. Our guide was very informative. I couldn't recommend this enough. Great job!!! |
