| Small group so we all knew each other's name in no time. The tour guide was great fun, giving lots of extra facts and figures. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. |

| Lyn (from Georgia) and Terrica (from Alabama) had a great time. Not only did we learn so much from Steve about New York but we met some great travelers that we ran into all over New York after our tour. We laughed and laughed. Thanks for loving New York and making us love it too.
Our only question is ... Were the three gentlemen from Canada really priest that were on our bus???? |

| This was the best tour I've ever been on. A lot of times when I visit new places I take tours to learn more about the city. I usually enjoy them, but this was the most fun and informative one I've taken. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. I actually recommended this tour to a friend of mine that has lived in NYC for 6 years. Although she knows a lot about the city, I still think she could learn quite a bit from this. Good amount of time on the bus and off of the bus. Strongly recommend this tour to anyone! |

| We had 2-1/2 days to spend in NYC and we spent the first 1-1/2 doing a pretty good job of covering mid-town on our own. We didn't want to leave NYC without at least an overview of the rest of the island and we'd heard that Marvelous Manhattan was a great way to get that. With Stephen as our guide, we accomplished everything we wanted and more. We saw the important and famous buildings including restaurants, stores, theatres and museums. We drove through every district getting a thorough explanation of where we were, what the importance of the district was, something of its history and the names of famous people who either worked in, lived in or impacted the areas. We learned how the various districts changed and evolved over the years and exactly what they were like today. We covered it all--north, south, east and west. When we return to NY, we will know exactly what we want to visit and where it is. Any time we spend there in the future will be totally productive because of our tour.
I can't say enough about Stephen. He made a huge effort to give us a tremendous amount of information in the time we had. He was very sensitive to members of the group. He enjoyed interacting with us and liked having questions and comments throughout the trip. After touring together for several hours, as guests we were getting to know one another and we began having conversations among ourselves. Stephen stepped back at those times and allowed us to visit without feeling that we were interfering with what he was trying to do, but he masterfully interjected his information when we were at important sites. He knew what would be important to all of us and he knew how to efficiently cover the city to get everything in. It was obvious right from the beginning that we were in competent hands with Stephen.
If we could have, I would have taken this tour the first day of our visit in NY. We would have been much more confident about where we were going and what we were seeing. But, as it is, we did fine on our own and now know exactly what we want to do when we return. Our time in the future will be very productive because of our tour.
I think we were very fortunate to have found Marvelous Manhattan and Stephen we are very grateful to him for caring to give us a great experience. |

| I am very sorry when I have to criticize or complain about anything, especially something I look forward to enthusiastically and for which I pay an estimable sum of money .
I was impressed by the website and testimonials on "Manhatten Tours" and chose this company for my tour of NYC, where I had not been for several years. I hoped to see most of the main districts (as advertised) and learn some history about, say, Chinatown and the Fashion Industry, as well as get out and walk around a bit in SOHO or Greeewich Village. Our group was an ideal size for a stroll (which we did do in Central Park) but we spent the majority of time sitting in a minibus and listening to a lot of ... voice.
We got to look up at the Empire State building from several blocks away.; we got to look up interminably at the ceiling of Grand Central Terminal; we also stood out on sidewalks (and looked up) (and it was cold) and a lot of time was given to jerking through the downtown traffic of Lower Manhatten. We got to hear all about how Harlem has changed. Some of the information bordered on interesting. But a few days later I can't tell you one thing of substance that I learned.
Steve is a great organizer and a terrific speaker -- I sure don't want him to take anything personally; but this tour lacked content, and would best be categorized as, say, : "Your Very First Introduction to How To Get Around In New York". But then there would need to be added info on using subways and so on.
I felt so bad about asking my friend who I booked the tour with for the $85.00 ticket price, I told her to forget it. She was cold in the bus and fell asleep for part of the tour, so I didn't want to add insult to injury. We were both very positive and open and willing to absorb whatever interesting information was going to be offered about this amazing city of New York, but a couple of days later , as I mentioned, I can't remember anything of substance. I feel bad about that. I feel kind of ripped off.
Unfortunately our Broadway show got cancelled due to the strike...so our weekend in NYC had its elements of disappointment. Still, it's New York City! The Met and Times Square were excellent and I enjoyed a walk through Central Park on Sunday.
Have a great day
Sincerely,
Laara |

| The guide on this tour was friendly enough, but it was a bit of a whizz past with most places after theatre district.
Not enough time for dinner, after queing. |

| The tour was excellent. It more than adequately covered the areas, culture, and history of New York. Our guide, Steve, was knowledgeable, entertaining, and courteous. I would recommend this tour to everyone, whether the trip to New York is your first or fifth. The children also liked the tour. Forget the red bus or any bus tours. This is THE tour. We highly recommend it. |

| Stephen Duer (The King of New York) is high energy and very knowledgeable. The tour was accomplished with no hitches and the places we visited, especially those where we disembarked the bus and walked around were awesome. We learned a great deal about New York. |
