| An excellent tour in a very comfortable coach with a marvellously informative host whose outgoing personality, sense of humour and philisophical meanderings(!) were a major factor in our enjoyment of it. We took the tour at the beginning of our holiday because we wished to see as much of the city as possible and learn about its history, its people and its many places of interest and, thanks to our host, we were not disappointed in this respect. It was a most enjoyable day and was a brilliant starter to our stay in New York. We chose your Company on the strength of a personal recommendation and would be happy to make a similar recommendation ourselves. May you continue to reign supreme as "King" for a long time to come!!
Very many thanks. |

| I did not know what to expect. I was born and brought up in New York and moved to Texas 3 years ago after remarrying. Many of the women here had expressed an interest in seeing New York and altho I would have been content to take them to the tourist attractions........after we saw them - what then..... Steve, our guide, took us to places I had never seen nor known about. He also took us to places I was quite familiar with. Lunch at Katz' was a nostalgic part of the trip as I had eaten there many times as a child and an adult. He explained everything in great detail and left no question unanswered. As a New Yorker I can only say that this was more than I expected - especially Harlem. These women walked away with a totally different view of New York - no fear - people friendly and hardly any dirt. Thank you Steve for the time and trouble you went to to be explicit. It takes alot of studying to explain everything and I admire his hard work. I would do it again if others want to come here and need someone to help them over the "hump". Thank you. |

| This is the third time I have taken this tour and I have recommended it to several others who have also taken it. The guide is very knowledgeable and helpful. There is the right amount of entertainment value but it doesn't take away from the learning experience.
When the tour is finished you feel as though you have seen the city and understand it.
I recommend starting your trip with the tour as it helps you understand distances and points of interest you wish to revisit for more time. |

| I was glad because it was a tour of less than 10 people, any more than 15 would've been too much, I didn't hear what the guide was saying very well.
We stopped at some major sites. I would say we spent the most time at the World Financial Center viewing the former World Trade Center. The second thing we spent the most time doing was fake purse shopping in Chinatown. We spent about 30 minutes doing that. There were about 2 ladies (including the guide!) who stayed and did this, I just roamed around close by not knowing how much time they were going to be staying in this one store. That was a waste of time, considering we only spent 5 minutes TOTAL between the areas of Central Park, The FlatIron Building, and The Empire State Building. Oh yes, if you're a cupcake lover you'll enjoy Chelsea Square Market, we spent about a half hour in there as well cupcake shopping and brownie shopping. You don't get any close up views of the statue of liberty, we spent about 5 minutes, maybe less, viewing the distant statue, then left.
For $95, it wasn't worth it (especially if there was the maxiumum amount of guests of 35 people). If I had brought a partner along, I would have rather done a ONE on ONE tour with RealNewYorkTours.com (not affiliated), and you get to see alot more sights for $125pp and you get your very own tour guide. I guess this was ok for a first time visit to New York with limited time. |

| Steve was a fabulous tour guide. He was very entertaining as well as informative. Our group even passed one of the other tour lines and commented about how bored they all seemed to be!!!!! Not the case with our group.
We also thought that George, the driver, needed some kind of award for maneuvering the "people mover" in and out of traffic.
The only complaint that I had was the lunch stop. I know that it is a favorite of Steve's, but of all the meals that we had over a period of six days, that one was the worst. Maybe I just chose the wrong thing. I didn't get the Pastrami. I got chicken salad instead.
Overall, I highly recommend the Marvelous Manhattan tour. If information and details were priced by line item, the price of the Marvelous Manhattan tour is a real bargain!!!!! |

Couple on a Date |
| If you do nothing else in New York, book a date with this Company.
The Guide is a guy called Steve, who is not only your guide for the day, but he is also a great companion who knows his stuff. We enjoyed every minute with Steve, a true embassador of Manhatten. His wit and enthusiasm is endless, and I am sure he enjoys HIS work as much as we enjoyed his tour. Basically Steve has so much energy for his days out with his customers. A real New Yorker who gives you the benefit of his knowledge of the City. He has the answer for every question you can throw at him, and the Guy really knows New York.
Thanks Steve for a fabulous day out, we didn't want it to end.

| WE WERE CELEBRATING OUR 50TH ANNIVERSARY WITH THREE DAYS IN NYC
AND THEN OFF TO A NEW ENGLAND CRUISE. THERE WERE 6 IN OUR GROUP
AND WE THOUGHT THIS WAS THE PERFECT WAY TO SEE A LITTLE OF ALL
NEW YORK. WELL, WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY
TO SEE ALL THE SIGHTS OF NYC. STEPHEN DUER IS VERY PROUD OF HIS CITY
AS WELL AS "VERY" INFORMATIVE & INTERTAINING. IN FACT, HE IS DOWN RIGHT FUN. THE TOUR COVERED UPTOWN, MIDTOWN, DOWNTOWN, AND PLACES IN BETWEEN! WE ALL AGREED, THERE WAS NO WAY WE COULD HAVE EVER COVERED ALL THE FUN PLACES THERE ARE TOO SEE. FROM SARDI'S
TO GRAND CENTRAL STATION, STATUE OF LIBERTY, A PASTRIMI LUNCH TO DIE FOR, AND MUCH MUCH MORE. IF YOUR GOING TO NEW YORK FOR 1 DAY OR MANY, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND "MARVELOUS MANHATTAN TOURS".
THANKS A MILLION STEPHEN, IT WAS A WONDERFUL DAY! |

| This is a wonderful introductory tour to New York. It has the feel of a private tour given by a guide who is really interested in making sure that you get a comprehensive understanding of the history of New Yorks buildings and other sites while also giving you insight into the daily life of New Yorkers. Steve was our guide and we were very happy with his lively personality and intriguing stories. A definite must do for anyone visiting New York. |
