| Fantastic tour guide - excellent knowledge and a brilliant communicator. He definitely added to our enjoyment of the tour.
A perfect itinerary. We were only in NY for three days so couldn't possibly see everything. This tour gave us a flavour of Manhatten and enabled us to plan the rest of our stay. As Londoners we felt we had a real flavour of NY.
I have recommended this tour to everyone I know. Our stay in NY would definitely not have been as fantastic. |

| As a native New Yorker enjoying the tour with family from out of town I found the tour
to be highly informative. I was made aware of so many interesting facts related to
the history of New York which I had never known and certainly would consider
another tour if the opportunity presented. |

| We took the tour on our first full day in New York having booked online before we left England. We book the six hour tour as it was our first visit to NY and thought it would give us an idea of where and what to visit.
The tour was excellent, Steve, the host, was very informative and friendly. The stops to get off and look closely at things whilst he described them gave us lots of information we would not have otherwise known. We had said that we would not go to the site of the World Trade Centre as it seemed a macabre thing to do, however it was part of the tour, Steve gave us a whole different insite into the tragedy and how things are moving on now,
The stop for lunch at the deli was a great experience, again, one which we would not have had if we been looking around unescourted.
I recommend this tour, it is well worth the money and is a great way to start a holiday in New York. |

| Hi!
We wanted to learn how to get around the City. This all day tour did that for us. It included a break for lunch. A great tip by Stephen, our tour guide, was to go to the Katz Deli for the best hot pastrami sandwich in the City. This was a great suggestion.
The Sunday that we went was hot and humid. I was very thankful that the windows opened from the bottom a little to allow fresh air to enter the bus. The itinerary included several stops where we could exit the bus and stretch our legs. Grand Central Station, the Battery Park Area, the Financial District, and Central Park were all good choices. I liked it that the tour took us uptown to Harlem. Had always been meaning to visit this area of the City..
Wish the tour could have included some time for shopping in SOHO and maybe time for a stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge, but now that I know where these things are, I will be more inclined to plan to do them on my own next visit.
I recommend this tour. The seats were comfortable. The windows were wide and provided an excellent vantage point for viewing the neighborhoods as we drifted by.
There was no bathroom on the bus so maybe this would not be the trip to take small children on. I especially liked that.
Stephen provided non-stop commentary throughout the all day tour. He was proud of the City and of being a part of it. He enthusiastically answered questions and was not ashamed to show emotion when the subject of 9/11 came up as we visited the site.
He became a little peeved I think when the audience failed to respond to a few of his remarks or "punch lines", but it was a hot day and the bus' s a.c. could not keep the bus cool enough to keep everyone attentive. It was a long tour.......but just as advertised.
I recommend this tour to anyone wanting a safe, comfortable way to see New York City in a day. I liked the choice of stops. I liked the convenient pick up location. I liked the comfortable seats and the great big windows. I think that tour guide Stephen did an excellent job and he reviewed the facts and details of the 9/11 tragedy with the proper amount of respect and sadness as we toured that section of the City.
I especially am glad that we did this activity on a Sunday of the long July 4th weekend when the traffic of the City was as low as it gets, allowing us to get from Point A to point B without the danger that must certainly accompany weekday tours.
So, go on Sunday...and enjoy.
Now, if I can only learn to use the Subway System! |

| Steve was our guide and George was our driver. Both were awesome. This was our thrid trip to NYC(Manhattan), but the first time we had taken a formal tour. I can't tell you how much it added to our experience. We learned things about the city that we would never have known otherwise. The small group made for a much better experience than the big tour buses. Thanks to Steve for a fun, entertaining, educational experience. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour. |

| We enjoyed our tour for the most part. I was suffering from jet lag, but we really got to see all the important sights in downtown Manhattan. It was a lot to see in one day. Our tour guide, "Steve" kept things interesting and lively. He moved us along at a fast pace.
I would have liked to see Ellis Island up closer. The weather was nice up until about 3:30 or so. Then the rain came. Our tour guide more or less told us to get out in the rain. We walked about four blocks to our hotel in the rain. We knew the driver would not return us to the hotel, but we didn't really know where we were, at first. Then the guide, "Steve" said, "What are you waiting for? The rain to stop?" and that was the way he dumped us off the bus. By that time we were all tired, but he could have been more polite to tourists. |

| Steve is a passionate New Yorker, who managed to convey the depth and breadth of this marvelous city with humor and expertise. Even after countless visits here, we learned an incredible amount as we shepherded our grand niece from Zurich around the Apple! Recommend this tour most highly! |

| 1. The guide was very animated, friendly and knowledgable (but did have a bit of an angry sulk when a couple of people were a bit late back to the bus - in fact he ignored them as they got on).
2. Tour was a very good introduction for New York novices like us.
3. The Katz Deli needs to be taken off the itinerary. The food was horrible, the place was scruffy and the prices extortionate. The guide made us feel obiged to have lunch there, and why anyone needs that much meat in a sandwich is completely beyond me! A horrible experience.
Kind regards |
